How the Five Compare on the Numbers
Capacity is the first figure to read, and it is stated two ways across these five. The AROMA ARC-1130S, the CUCKOO CR-3032 and the Winco all publish 30 cups uncooked and 60 cups cooked. The Panasonic SR-42HZP states 46 cups cooked, and the VEVOR states 40 cups cooked from an 8 liter pot. Rice roughly doubles in volume, so the uncooked figure and the cooked figure describe the same pot.
Wattage is published on three of the five. The AROMA and the Panasonic both state 1550 watts, and the VEVOR states a 1200W heating base. The CUCKOO, Winco and Moosum listings do not publish a wattage figure. Keep warm time is published on three as well, at 8 hours for the Panasonic, up to 6 hours for the Winco and 24 hours for the VEVOR.
The table does not tell you how any of these machines cooks. No one at Lush has used them, and the makers publish no cooking time for four of the five. It also cannot tell you whether a unit fits under a shelf if the maker publishes no dimensions, which is the case for the Winco and the VEVOR.
Capacity and What It Means for a Service Line
Uncooked and cooked figures
A 30 cup uncooked machine is published as 60 cups cooked because rice expands during cooking. The AROMA, CUCKOO and Winco all use that pairing. The Panasonic states 23 cups uncooked and 46 cups cooked, and adds a serving count of about 94 three ounce portions. The VEVOR states 40 cups cooked from an 8 liter total volume.
If a kitchen serves rice by the cup rather than by the portion, the cooked figure is the one to compare. Three of the five publish 60 cups cooked, which is the highest figure on the sheet. The Panasonic and VEVOR sit below that, at 46 and 40 cups cooked respectively, so a kitchen needing the full 60 cups has three options and a kitchen needing less has two.
Footprint and storage
Only three of the five publish dimensions. The AROMA states 15.0 inches wide, 18.0 inches deep and 18.0 inches tall. The Panasonic states 17.0 inches wide, 17.0 inches deep and 10.5 inches tall, though the same listing also gives 11.8 inches as a height figure. The CUCKOO states 18.0 inches on all three measurements.
Where a maker publishes nothing, no fit can be confirmed. The Winco, VEVOR and Moosum listings give no width, depth or height, so a buyer measuring a shelf or a counter cutout has to ask the seller. Weight is published for three of those same models, and it ranges from 8.38 pounds on the VEVOR to 22.4 pounds on the AROMA.
Wattage, Warming and Certifications
What the wattage figures show
The AROMA and the Panasonic both state 1550 watts. The VEVOR states a 1200W heating base. Those are the only three wattage figures on the sheet. The CUCKOO, Winco and Moosum listings do not publish one, so no comparison is possible for those models on this point.
A wattage figure describes the rated input, not the cooking result. The makers do not publish a time to cook a batch for the AROMA, Panasonic, CUCKOO, Winco or VEVOR. Only the Moosum states a figure, 38 minutes to switch to keep warm, and the Heromind states about 40 minutes, though neither is among the five picks here.
Warming windows and approvals
Keep warm time is published on three of the five. The VEVOR states 24 hours, the Panasonic states 8 hours and the Winco states up to 6 hours. The AROMA and CUCKOO listings do not publish a duration. A kitchen that holds rice across a long service has a stated window on three models and no stated window on two.
Certifications are named on two listings. The Panasonic states NSF approval for commercial use and a built-in double safety thermal fuse. The CUCKOO states it holds both cETL and NSF certifications. The AROMA, Winco and VEVOR listings do not name a certification. That is an absence of a published claim, not evidence that a unit lacks approval.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
Buyer who needs the most cooked rice per batch. The AROMA ARC-1130S, the CUCKOO CR-3032 and the Winco all publish 60 cups cooked, the highest figure on the sheet. Choose between them on the other published figures, since capacity does not separate them.
Buyer who needs a named commercial approval. The Panasonic SR-42HZP states NSF approval and the CUCKOO states cETL and NSF. Those are the only two listings that name a certification, so a kitchen that must show one has two documented options.
Buyer who holds rice across a long service. The VEVOR states 24 hours of keep warm, the Panasonic 8 hours and the Winco up to 6 hours. The AROMA and CUCKOO do not publish a warming duration, so they cannot be compared on this point.
Buyer who moves the unit between stations. The VEVOR is published at 8.38 pounds, the least of the five, against 22.4 pounds for the AROMA. That is a difference of about 14 pounds, which matters if the cooker is lifted or carried during a shift.
Buyer with a fixed counter opening. Only the AROMA, Panasonic and CUCKOO publish dimensions. The AROMA states 15.0 inches wide, the Panasonic 17.0 inches wide and the CUCKOO 18.0 inches wide. The Winco and VEVOR publish no dimensions at all.
What We Could Not Verify
Several figures a buyer would want are absent from the listings, and we did not fill them in.
- Cooking time per batch for the AROMA, Panasonic, CUCKOO, Winco and VEVOR, since none of those listings states one.
- Wattage for the CUCKOO, Winco and Moosum, which their listings do not publish.
- Keep warm duration for the AROMA and CUCKOO, which their listings do not publish.
- Width, depth and height for the Winco, VEVOR and Moosum, which their listings do not publish.
- Weight for the Heromind and MOIFELTO, which their listings do not publish.
- Any certification for the AROMA, Winco and VEVOR, which their listings do not name.
