How the Five Compare on the Numbers
A dough scraper is a flat piece of metal or plastic with nowhere obvious to live, so the question an organized cabinet asks is where the maker says it goes. Two of these five answer. Matscover publishes a hanging hole and names a drawer or a hook. Chef’n states its three pieces nest together. The other three say nothing about storage at all.
The figure behind that is thickness, and it is almost unpublished. Anmarko states a 1/32 inch blade in its own sentence and nobody else states one. SURDOCA’s field reads 0.3 inches, Nordic Ware’s reads 1 inch, Matscover’s fields were dropped as a carton, and Chef’n publishes no size for any piece it sells.
What the table cannot tell you is how a hanging hole behaves on a silicone blade. Matscover publishes the hole and no diameter, so which hook it takes is unstated, and a flexible tool hanging from one point is not the same proposition as a rigid one. No listing among the five publishes a hole size, and only this one publishes a hole.
The Two Makers Who Answer the Question
Matscover Publishes the Hole and Names Its Uses
Matscover puts storage in a bullet of its own and says two things with it: the included hanging hole maximizes space efficiency in drawers or on hooks. That is the only sentence about putting a scraper away anywhere among these five listings, and the fact that it names a drawer as well as a hook is the part that matters in a cabinet with no rail.
The rest of the listing is specific too. A large silicone blade with a sturdy nylon core at 6.85 by 3.1 inches, a small ABS blade at 4.28 by 3.5 inches, heat resistance to 446 degrees Fahrenheit, a flexible curved edge on one side and a straight edge on the other, a one piece body with no joint to trap residue, and 0.26 lb for the pair.
Chef’n Nests Three Pieces Instead
Chef’n answers the same problem the other way. Its bullet says compact storage and nest all three pieces together, which is the only nesting claim on this page and a better answer than a hook if what you have is a shelf rather than a rail. The three pieces span stainless steel and plastic, so one purchase covers a rigid cut and a flexible scrape.
It publishes almost nothing else. There is no size for any of the three pieces, only a carton of 7.28 by 8.27 by 1.18 inches, no thickness, no temperature and no per piece weight inside the 0.4 lb total. What it does state is that the plastic bowl scraper is shaped for reaching into curved surfaces, and that every piece is dishwasher safe.
The Three That Leave the Cabinet to You
SURDOCA Sells Sheets That Need No Storage
SURDOCA publishes three flexible PE sheets at 4.7 by 3.7 inches, given also as 12 by 9.5 cm, with a field thickness of 0.3 inches and a published weight of 0.09 lb for all three. On a page about cabinets that is close to an argument in itself: a flat sheet with no handle slides into a gap no other tool here fits.
It still publishes nothing about storage, which is a silence rather than a solution. What it does publish is the working detail: a sharp curved edge for a bowl, a straight edge and corners for a bench, PE rather than the stiffer PP it names as the cheaper option, and an anti skid point surface on both faces for moving wet dough, and warm water or a dishwasher for cleaning.
Anmarko Publishes the One Thickness
Anmarko is the only listing among these five that states how thick its blade is, at 1/32 inch, and it puts the figure in the same bullet as the claim that the blade is heavy duty. That is the number that decides whether the tool gets under a dough that has stuck, and it is also the number that decides whether it lies flat in a drawer.
Around it the listing publishes a measure guide with an inch marking scale, a non slip wooden handle, stainless steel described as non reactive and hygienic, and named use on a cast iron griddle as well as on dough. It publishes no storage, no dishwasher permission either way, and a weight of 0.42 lb.
Nordic Ware Publishes a Restriction
Nordic Ware runs to four short bullets and one of them is worth more than most of this fact sheet: do not soak or wash in a dishwasher, as the wood can crack or warp. It is the only listing among these five to publish a restriction rather than a permission, and on a tool with a solid beechwood grip that is the sentence a buyer needs.
Everything else is thin. It publishes no blade size, no thickness and no storage in words, only fields of 7.5 by 8 by 1 inches and 0.4 lb. Its 1 inch field height is greater than the 0.3 inches SURDOCA publishes, though on a blade with a grip above it that figure is describing the handle rather than the metal.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
You hang your tools. Matscover publishes the only hanging hole on this page, with a 6.85 by 3.1 inch silicone blade, a 4.28 by 3.5 inch ABS blade, 446 degrees Fahrenheit of heat resistance and 0.26 lb for the pair.
You have a shelf, not a rail. Chef’n publishes three stainless and plastic pieces stated to nest together for storage, all dishwasher safe, at 0.4 lb, with a bowl scraper shaped for curved surfaces.
The gap you have is very thin. SURDOCA publishes three flexible PE sheets at 4.7 by 3.7 inches and 0.09 lb, with a curved edge, a straight edge and corners, and no handle to get in the way.
You want the blade figure. Anmarko publishes a 1/32 inch stainless blade with an inch marking scale and a non slip wooden handle, and names griddle scraping as well as dough at 0.42 lb.
You want wood and will hand wash it. Nordic Ware publishes a stainless blade under a solid beechwood grip and states it must not be soaked or machine washed, at 0.4 lb.
What We Could Not Verify
Every figure and every sentence above is the maker’s own, taken from the listing itself. These are the things we went looking for across these five listings and could not find.
- A diameter for the Matscover hanging hole, so what hook it takes is unknown.
- A size for any of the three Chef’n pieces, on a listing that publishes only a carton.
- A thickness from Matscover, Chef’n or Nordic Ware in the maker’s own words.
- A dishwasher permission either way from Anmarko, the one pick of the five that says nothing about washing.
- A per piece weight from Chef’n, SURDOCA or Matscover, all of which publish a set figure.
- Any hanging hole on the other four picks, none of which mentions one.
