How the Five Compare on the Numbers
Seven live pages already rank this pool: by published weight, by food safe plastic and a second size, by what each maker says about cleaning, by the material named, by sheet size against the loaf, by how many designs arrive and whether one carries a message, and by the application method. Material, designs, cleaning and size are all taken.
A deep drawer is the worst place a thin flat sheet can be put, because nothing holds it against the sides and everything else in the drawer lands on top of it. So the question is whether the sheet holds its own shape, and the answer is published once as a figure, three times as an adjective, and nowhere at all as a test.
What the table cannot tell you is how thick any of the four plastic sheets is, because the one field that would carry it is unusable across almost the whole pool. Fourteen of the sixteen listings behind this page publish 0.2 inches in that slot, which is a quarter of an inch of plastic on a sheet you are told bends over a curved loaf, so the figure is a floor and not a measurement.
One Published Thickness and Fourteen Fields Reading 0.2
The Only Figure Stated in Words
YongPan’s botanical set is the only listing in this pool to put a thickness in a sentence: made from 0.12 inch food-contact-safe clear acrylic, with 3 mm given beside it. That is a sheet you could stand on edge, and it settles the question this page asks without any inference. The same bullet explains the point of it: smudge-free scoring with the dough visible through the stencil.
Nothing else here comes close to that. Its sibling listing, the mandala set, publishes clear acrylic and no figure. Maison Fare publishes food grade plastic and no figure. Romooa and TvwiKo publish PET and no figure. One number out of five, on the specification that decides whether a stencil survives a drawer.
Why 0.2 Inches Is Not a Measurement
The dimension fields appear to offer a thickness and they do not. Fourteen of the sixteen listings behind this page carry 0.2 inches in the smallest slot, whether the fields describe a sheet or a carton, and a run of identical figures across unrelated brands is a default rather than a measurement. Romooa is the single exception at 0.04 inches.
That exception is the useful one, because 0.04 inches is a credible figure for a flexible PET sheet and 0.2 inches is not. We have used neither as a thickness claim on this page: Romooa’s is reported as the one field that behaves, and the 0.2 figures are reported as what they are, a number the listings share for no stated reason.
Rigid, Not Flimsy, and Flexible
Three Ways of Saying It Holds Its Shape
Both YongPan listings argue rigidity through acrylic. The botanical set states no warping, cracking or residue like wood or paper stencils, and the mandala set states it resists warping, cracking and staining and is laser-cut with crisp detail. Acrylic at the one published thickness is a plate rather than a film, and both listings lean on being see-through for alignment rather than on bending to the loaf.
Maison Fare makes the same claim in plastic and makes it as a comparison: durable food-grade materials that are dishwasher-safe, warp-resistant and strong, not flimsy film. Naming the alternative is unusual and useful. It is also the only listing on this page that is dishwasher safe and the only one publishing built-in tabs for positioning.
Two That Ask You to Dry Them Flat
TvwiKo takes the opposite position and is explicit about the cost. Its fifth bullet states flexible reusable PET with lightweight sheets that bend gently over curved loaf surfaces while remaining easy to position, and then gives the care routine: rinse soon after use, hand wash carefully, dry flat. Dry flat is the sentence a deep drawer owner should read twice.
Romooa publishes PET with good durability and flexibility, washable and reusable, and no storage or drying instruction at all. It is the purchase with twenty designs, so it is also the thickest pile of loose sheets on this page, and the listing says nothing about keeping them flat or together once the packaging is gone.
What a Deep Drawer Does to a Flat Sheet
Stacking Flat Is a Published Claim
Maison Fare is the only listing in this pool that addresses storage directly: compact and versatile, stack flat for easy storage and use beyond bread. Four stencils at 4 x 4 inches and a weight field of 0.02 lb, which is the lowest on this page, so what you are storing is almost nothing as long as it stays flat.
TvwiKo’s dry flat is the other storage sentence here and it is an instruction rather than a feature. The three remaining listings publish nothing about storage at all, which on a flexible sheet in a deep drawer is the gap that matters: under a baking tin, a 0.04 inch PET sheet takes the shape of whatever is on top of it.
Ten Pieces and Five Patterns
The YongPan botanical listing is titled a set of 10 and its second bullet states the set includes 5 unique leaf patterns, each 4.5 inches long with widths from 1.3 to 2.6 inches. Those two statements are not reconciled anywhere. Five patterns in two sizes would give ten pieces, and the listing never says that, so the piece count and the pattern count have to be read separately.
It matters more here than it would on another page, because ten acrylic plates at 0.12 inches are a different proposition in a drawer from five. The mandala set is unambiguous at four designs, Maison Fare at four stencils, TvwiKo at four wheat designs, and Romooa at twenty styles in one package.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
You want a sheet that cannot curl. YongPan’s botanical set. The only published thickness in this pool, 0.12 inch clear acrylic given also as 3 mm, in leaf patterns 4.5 inches long with widths from 1.3 to 2.6 inches.
You want acrylic in a square format. YongPan’s mandala set. Four laser-cut mandala designs at 3.54 inches in food-grade clear acrylic, stated to resist warping, cracking and staining. No thickness is published.
You want it dishwasher safe and stackable. Maison Fare. Four USA made stencils at 4 x 4 inches with built-in tabs, stated warp-resistant and not flimsy film, and stated to stack flat at a weight field of 0.02 lb.
You want the most designs. Romooa. Twenty PET styles at 5.9 x 5.9 inches, including Baked With Love and Happy Birthday, with the only credible thickness field in the pool at 0.04 inches.
You score round boules, not flat tops. TvwiKo. Four wheat designs at 5.9 x 5.9 inches in flexible PET, stated to bend gently over curved loaf surfaces. The instruction is to dry them flat.
What We Could Not Verify
These are the specifications we went looking for in all five listings and did not find.
- A thickness in words from four of the five, with only the YongPan botanical set publishing 0.12 inches.
- Why fourteen of the sixteen listings behind this page carry 0.2 inches in the same field.
- Whether the YongPan botanical set is ten pieces, five patterns, or five patterns in two sizes.
- Any storage or drying statement from the two YongPan sets or from Romooa.
- A weight for the YongPan botanical set, in a field or a bullet.
- Whether the four plastic sheets can be washed in a machine, which only Maison Fare states.
