How the Five Compare on the Numbers
Two of these five name a cabinet. Ourokhome says the compact design easily fits standard kitchen cabinets, and says again that the space-saving design helps it fit neatly into kitchen cabinets or shelves. Cooler Kitchen says the mini salad spinner stores easily in cabinets. OXO names stacking instead, Dreamfarm names a bowl stack, and Amazon Basics names no storage at all.
Not one of the five puts a measurement next to its storage claim. Every figure a cabinet actually needs sits in an unlabeled dimension field: 10.4 x 10.4 x 6.5 inches for Ourokhome, 7.0 x 8.0 x 7.0 inches for Cooler Kitchen, 10.25 x 6.75 x 10.25 inches for OXO, 9.5 x 9.8 x 7.0 inches for Amazon Basics and 8.66 x 15.75 x 4.33 inches for Dreamfarm.
The table cannot tell you which of the three published figures is the diameter on any of the five, because none of these listings labels its fields. That matters more here than usual: a spinner is a circle on a square shelf, and Ourokhome carries a 10.4 inch figure while OXO carries a 10.25 inch figure, with no sentence on either saying whether that is the bowl across or the pump standing up. Only Dreamfarm states an overall figure in words.
Who Actually Mentions the Cabinet
Two Listings Name It, Neither Measures It
Ourokhome brings the cabinet up twice. Its first bullet ends by saying the compact design easily fits standard kitchen cabinets, and its last bullet says the space-saving design helps the salad spinner fit neatly into kitchen cabinets or shelves. Both sentences arrive without a figure. Its fields read 10.4 x 10.4 x 6.5 inches and it publishes 6.3 QT and 2.56 lb.
Cooler Kitchen makes the claim once and keeps it short: the mini salad spinner stores easily in cabinets. That sits in the same bullet as its measuring marks and pour spout, and again no figure follows it. Its fields read 7.0 x 8.0 x 7.0 inches at 1.26 lb, and it is the only one of the five that publishes no capacity figure at all.
Stacking Is a Different Promise
OXO does not name a cabinet. It says that pressing the pump handle down and sliding the storage lock into place holds the pump flush with the lid for stacking and storing, which is a claim about what can sit on top rather than where it goes. Its fields read 10.25 x 6.75 x 10.25 inches, with 6.22 Qt and 2.5 lb published.
Dreamfarm names a destination nobody else does. It says the handle collapses, allowing the spinner to neatly store in your bowl stacks, completely out of the way. That is a claim about going inside something you already own, which is the most useful answer on this page for a full cabinet, and it is also the hardest to check against any published figure.
The Figures a Cabinet Would Have Needed
Dreamfarm Is the Only One to State a Size in Words
Dreamfarm publishes Length: 30.5cm in its own size field, given also as 12 inches, which is the only overall figure any of these five states outside an unlabeled field. Its basket is published as 12 cup, given also as 3 quart. At 0.68 lb it carries the lowest published weight of the five, against 2.56 lb for Ourokhome.
Its dimension fields then read 8.66 x 15.75 x 4.33 inches, and 15.75 inches is not the 12 inches the maker states. We have used the maker’s own figure, as the house rule requires, and printed the fields beside it. For a bowl stack what matters is the 4.33 inches of published height and the collapsing handle, neither of which the other four offer.
Capacity, Weight and the One That Publishes Neither Claim
Four of the five publish a capacity. Ourokhome states 6.3 QT, the highest figure on this page, and says it fits up to 3 heads of lettuce or 2 lb of cherry tomatoes. OXO states 6.22 Qt. Amazon Basics states 4.2 qt. Dreamfarm states a basket of 12 cup, given also as 3 quart. Cooler Kitchen publishes none.
Amazon Basics is the plain one and that is why it is here. It names no cabinet, no shelf and no stacking, and uses the word storing only for keeping food in the bowl. What it publishes instead is 4.2 qt, 1.64 lb, fields of 9.5 x 9.8 x 7.0 inches, straining holes on top, and a hand wash with warm water and mild soap.
What Else Separates These Five
How Each One Gets Shorter, Where It Does
Three of the five publish a way to lose height. Ourokhome states a retractable pump handle that presses down after use to reduce overall height. OXO states a storage lock that holds the pump flush with the lid. Dreamfarm states a handle that collapses. Cooler Kitchen and Amazon Basics publish no height reduction of any kind, so what their fields say is what a shelf gets.
All five publish some form of stop, which is unusual across a pool this size. Ourokhome names an instant stop brake button, Cooler Kitchen a brake button for complete spin control, OXO a patented brake that stops the basket immediately, and Dreamfarm quick stop braking by pushing the handle down. Amazon Basics names a stop feature without calling it a brake.
Washing, and the One That Says Nothing
Cleaning splits these five three ways. OXO says all parts are dishwasher safe with the top rack recommended, and that the lid comes apart so moisture will not build up. Cooler Kitchen says all parts are BPA free and dishwasher safe. Amazon Basics asks for a hand wash with warm water and mild soap, which is the only hand wash instruction here.
Ourokhome describes a detachable lid that lets internal components be fully removed for cleaning, with no hidden corners and no trapped water, but it never clears any part for a dishwasher. Dreamfarm publishes no washing wording at all, which on a collapsing part that lives inside your bowl stack is the question a reader is most likely to have.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
A cabinet the maker has thought about. Ourokhome, the only one of the five naming cabinets twice, with a retractable pump handle to cut its height. Published at 6.3 QT, 2.56 lb and fields of 10.4 x 10.4 x 6.5 inches. No dishwasher clearance is published.
A gap inside your existing bowls. Dreamfarm, which says its collapsing handle lets it store in your bowl stacks. The lowest published weight here at 0.68 lb, Length: 30.5cm given also as 12 inches, a 12 cup basket given also as 3 quart, and fields of 8.66 x 15.75 x 4.33 inches.
Something small with marks on the bowl. Cooler Kitchen, which says it stores easily in cabinets, with measuring marks and a pour spout and all parts dishwasher safe. Fields of 7.0 x 8.0 x 7.0 inches at 1.26 lb. It publishes no capacity figure at all.
A shelf where something sits on top. OXO, the only one of the five that says its pump goes flush with the lid for stacking and storing. 6.22 Qt, 2.5 lb, fields of 10.25 x 6.75 x 10.25 inches, a patented brake and all parts dishwasher safe on the top rack.
Figures rather than claims. Amazon Basics, which makes no storage claim of any kind and publishes 4.2 qt, 1.64 lb and fields of 9.5 x 9.8 x 7.0 inches. Straining holes on top, a removable basket as a colander, and a hand wash with warm water and mild soap.
What We Could Not Verify
Everything above comes from the five listings themselves. These are the things they do not say.
- A measurement beside any storage claim, from either of the two listings that name a cabinet.
- Which of the three published fields is the bowl across and which is the pump standing up, on any of the five.
- Whether Dreamfarm is the 12 inches it states or the 15.75 inches in its fields.
- Any capacity figure from Cooler Kitchen, which publishes none in quarts, cups or liters.
- Whether Ourokhome has any dishwasher safe part, since it describes cleaning without clearing one.
- Any washing instruction at all from Dreamfarm.
