How the Five Compare on the Numbers
All five of these listings claim something about heat and only one of them publishes a figure. HOMEE states a silicone grip pad that protects your hand from minus 40 F to 425 F, and it is also the only jug here with no handle at all. Dailyart states a heat resistant handle and 0.7 mm walls it says stop the milk burning.
Three of the other four put the claim on the handle and none of them measures it. Dailyart calls its handle heat resistant and says hands stay cool. ZOWIE KING says the hand held handle does not get hot. Jwthee says the handle will not burn your hands. The watchget listing puts heat resistance on the black coating instead, and promises excellent temperature control.
Published capacities are 6.8 oz, 12 oz, 12 oz, 20 oz and 350 ml, and published weights run from 0.21 lb to 0.55 lb. What the table cannot tell you is how hot the steel itself gets: three of the five claim a cool handle and none measures it, and HOMEE, which does publish a range, publishes it for a silicone pad rather than for the jug.
What Reaches Your Hand
The Only Jug With a Number On It
HOMEE is the only one of the five that publishes a temperature. Its own bullet says the food grade stainless steel and silicone grip pad protect your hand from minus 40 F to 425 F. The jug has no handle at all, which its own words call a handless design with a grip pad. For latte art the listing calls that a stronger grip and more control over the spout.
Its figures are the other thing to read carefully. The listing states a 3 x 3.6 inch pitcher and 0.66 lbs in its own bullets, while the published fields read 3.15 x 4.33 x 4.33 inches and 0.34 lb. Both pairs come from the same listing. This page uses the maker’s own sentence and reports the fields rather than building on them.
Three Cool Handles and One Cool Coating
Dailyart puts the most behind its claim. It states a heat resistant handle that keeps hands cool, and separately a 0.7 mm wall thickness it says gives excellent temperature control and prevents the milk from burning. That is the only figure on this page about a jug’s own metal, and it is the only one of the five cleared for a dishwasher in its own words.
ZOWIE KING and Jwthee both make the claim and leave it there. ZOWIE KING says the hand held handle does not get hot so you can concentrate on the latte art. Jwthee says the handle will not burn your hands and helps you control the strength. The watchget listing calls the black coating heat resistant and its handle only ergonomic.
How Much Milk, and Where the Scale Starts
From a Single Cortado to Three Cups
The capacities are far apart. Dailyart is 6.8 oz, or 200 ml, and says it is for a single cortado, espresso, cappuccino or latte with no milk wasted. The watchget and HOMEE jugs are both 12 oz. ZOWIE KING is 20 oz and says that suits 2 or 3 cups of cappuccino or espresso. Jwthee states 350 ml.
The watchget listing is the only one that says where its scale begins and ends. Its note says the maximum capacity is 12 oz, or 350 ml, with a scale range of 4 oz to 11 oz, and it asks you to fill no more than half the jug on a first attempt. Nobody else on this page publishes a usable minimum.
Scales, Grooves and a Lid
Only three of the five describe a scale inside the jug. Dailyart calls them clear internal graduated measurement lines. The watchget jug marks ml and oz from 4 oz to 11 oz. ZOWIE KING engraves the measurement on both sides so it reads either way round. HOMEE names no scale at all, and Jwthee names diversion grooves rather than measurement marks.
Jwthee is the only one of the five with a lid, and on a shared shelf that is the difference between a jug you have to empty and a jug you can cover. Its own bullet says the lid prevents the milk from spilling out. It also names six sizes in one listing, from 250 ml to 2000 ml, and the one on this page is 350 ml.
What the Shelf Has to Carry
Published Weights and Footprints
Published weights run 0.21 lb for Dailyart, 0.34 lb for HOMEE, 0.37 lb for Jwthee, 0.51 lb for watchget and 0.55 lb for ZOWIE KING. HOMEE is the one to read twice: its own bullet says 0.66 lbs, which is twice the 0.34 lb in its field, and the listing never reconciles the two.
Footprints are harder, because two of the five publish only two numbers. The Dailyart fields read 4.33 and 4.37 inches with nothing for the third. The ZOWIE KING fields read 3.15 and 3.94 inches. The three that publish all three are watchget at 2.95 x 2.95 x 3.74 inches, Jwthee at 2.36 x 2.36 x 4.72 inches and HOMEE at 3.15 x 4.33 x 4.33 inches.
What No Listing Covers
None of the five says anything about a stove, an induction hob or a microwave, so heating milk in the jug directly is not addressed by any of them. Four of the five describe cleaning in general terms, and only Dailyart uses the word dishwasher, saying to wash the cup under warm soapy water and that it is dishwasher safe.
Nobody publishes a figure for how hot the outside of the jug gets while steaming, which is the number a shared shelf would actually use. The minus 40 F to 425 F from HOMEE is a rating for a silicone pad, not a reading off the steel. The other four say a handle or a coating resists heat and leave it at a word.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
A jug that comes off the wand hot. HOMEE, with a silicone grip pad rated from minus 40 F to 425 F and no handle at all. Its own words give 3 x 3.6 inches and 0.66 lbs, against a 0.34 lb field.
One drink at a time. Dailyart, 6.8 oz or 200 ml at 0.21 lb, with 0.7 mm walls stated to stop the milk burning, a heat resistant handle, and the only dishwasher statement of the five.
Knowing how little you can pour. The watchget jug, a 12 oz maximum with a scale running 4 oz to 11 oz, a black coating called heat resistant, and 2.95 x 2.95 x 3.74 inches at 0.51 lb.
Two or three cups in one go. ZOWIE KING, 20 oz with the measurement engraved on both sides, a latte art pen in the box, and a hand held handle its listing says does not get hot. It publishes 0.55 lb.
Milk you want to cover. Jwthee, the only one of the five with a lid, at 350 ml and 2.36 x 2.36 x 4.72 inches, 0.37 lb. Its listing names six sizes from 250 ml to 2000 ml and no scale inside.
What We Could Not Verify
Everything above comes from the five listings themselves. These are the things they do not say.
- No listing of the five publishes a temperature for the outside of the jug while milk is steaming.
- HOMEE states 0.66 lbs in its own bullet while its weight field reads 0.34 lb, and never reconciles the two.
- HOMEE states a 3 x 3.6 inch pitcher while its fields read 3.15 x 4.33 x 4.33 inches.
- Dailyart and ZOWIE KING each publish only two dimension figures, with nothing for the third.
- None of the five says whether the jug may go on a stove, an induction hob or in a microwave.
- HOMEE and Jwthee name no measurement scale inside the jug, so how far to fill them is not stated.
