How the Five Compare on the Numbers
A freezer is not a pantry. Nothing in it is poured, nothing is scooped, and the question is never how much a single box holds. It is how many different portions a purchase lets you make, because a freezer plan is a set of meals rather than a volume of flour, and a single size means every portion is the same size whether you want it or not.
So this page ranks by the sizes in the box. Two of these five publish four sizes, two publish three, and one publishes a single size and divides it instead. Four of the five publish a volume for every size they contain; one publishes none at all. Exactly one of the five states in writing that it may go in a freezer.
What the table cannot tell you is the shape of any one container. Not one of these five publishes a dimension for a single box, only a carton figure or a set figure, so a reader working out how many fit across a freezer shelf has nothing to measure against. Two of the five publish a figure that contradicts their own contents, and only one of the five mentions the freezer as a permission rather than as a location.
The Sets With Four Sizes
KEMETHY Splits Twenty Four Containers Four Ways
KEMETHY gives a freezer plan the most to work with. Its size bullet publishes four sizes with six containers in each: six tall at 2.5 qt and 2.8 L, six large at 1.8 qt and 2.0 L, six medium at 1.5 qt and 1.6 L, and six standard at 0.7 qt and 0.8 L. Twenty four containers, evenly divided, each size given twice over in two units.
It also prints a capacity scale on the side of every container, which no other pick here does, so a portion can be read off the box instead of measured into it. It supplies twenty four reusable labels and a marker, stated to wipe clean for relabelling. Its weight field reads 0.44 lb for all twenty four, which is not a figure anybody should use.
PRAKI Publishes Liters and Cups for Every Size
PRAKI matches the four sizes with fewer boxes and better arithmetic. Its bundle bullet states four large tall at 11.83 cups and 2.8 liters, four large at 8.45 cups and 2.0 liters, four medium at 5.92 cups and 1.4 liter and four small at 3.38 cups and 0.8 liters. Sixteen containers, four of every size, and both units for all four.
For cooking rather than storing, cups are the useful half of that pair, and this is the only pick that gives cups for a four size set. It states four sided-locking lids with a silicone seal against air and water, names the freezer as somewhere it saves space, and supplies twenty labels and a marker. At 7.14 lb it is the heaviest figure published here.
Three Sizes, Two Different Answers
VERONES Adds Measuring Cups to Three Sizes
VERONES trades a fourth size for larger vessels and a tool. Its first bullet publishes two extra large at 6.5 L and 220 oz, two tall at 5.2 L and 176 oz, and six medium at 2.5 L and 85 oz, ten containers in three sizes, plus two measuring cups, twenty labels and a marker. It is the only pick here supplying a measuring cup of any kind.
Its openings are stated wide enough to reach into with that cup, and the transparent body is stated to show how much is left. What it never publishes is a weight, the only pick here that does not, and its package size of 4.33 by 3.94 by 4.72 in is smaller than one of its own extra large containers, so neither figure helps a freezer calculation.
Rubbermaid Puts the Freezer in Writing
Rubbermaid has the fewest containers and the clearest sentence. Its contents bullet publishes one 16 cup, one 12 cup and one 7.8 cup container plus lids for six pieces altogether, and its materials bullet lists freezer safe design beside BPA-free, dishwasher safe, odor resistant and stain resistant. That is the only freezer permission published by any of these five.
The rest of the listing is about the lid and the body: latches that form an airtight seal and fasten with an audible click, 360 degree crystal clear sides, and shatter-resistant Tritan plastic. Three containers is a modest start for a freezer plan and there are no spares and no labels, but the three volumes are published in cups and the permission is explicit.
Portions Without Sizes
Yieach Divides One Bin Into Four
Yieach is the only pick that makes portions inside a container rather than between containers. Its first bullet states three removable dividers in each bin, and a later bullet describes the result as four compartments, so six identical bins become twenty four spaces. A divider that comes out is also the only part in this group that a reader can reconfigure.
It states handles on both sides of each bin, which matters when a full bin is frozen to the shelf, and clear shatter-resistant plastic free of BPA and chlorine. It names the freezer in three separate bullets and mentions breast milk freezer storage by name. It publishes 4.43 lb and no volume at all, giving its size only as Medium.
What None of These Five Measures
Every one of these purchases is measured as a carton or as a set, and not one publishes a length, a width or a height for a single container. For a pantry shelf that is survivable because the set goes on the shelf together. For a freezer drawer it is the figure that decides everything, and a reader has to work from a package size that in two cases is plainly wrong.
The VERONES package of 4.33 by 3.94 by 4.72 in cannot hold ten containers, two measuring cups and twenty labels. The KEMETHY weight of 0.44 lb cannot be twenty four latched containers with silicone seals. Both are the same error in different fields, and both are reasons this page ranks on published contents rather than on published measurements.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
You want the widest choice of portions. KEMETHY publishes four sizes with six containers in each, from 2.5 qt down to 0.7 qt, with a capacity scale printed on the side and twenty four reusable labels. Its weight field cannot be used.
You want portions you can read in cups. PRAKI publishes four sizes with four containers in each, from 11.83 cups down to 3.38 cups, with four sided-locking lids and twenty labels. It publishes 7.14 lb for the carton.
You want larger vessels and a measuring cup. VERONES publishes 6.5 L, 5.2 L and 2.5 L across ten containers and supplies two measuring cups, twenty labels and a marker. It publishes no weight and an impossible package size.
You want the freezer in writing. Rubbermaid states a freezer safe design and publishes 16 cup, 12 cup and 7.8 cup for its three Tritan containers, with audible click latches. It supplies no labels and publishes 3.55 lb.
You want to decide the portions yourself. Yieach supplies six bins of one size with three removable dividers in each, handles on both sides and clear plastic. It publishes 4.43 lb and no volume for a bin or a compartment.
What We Could Not Verify
Six things a reader planning a freezer would want, and no listing among these five supplies.
- A replacement lid, gasket or divider sold separately by any of the five.
- A length, width or height for any single container, since all five publish only a carton or a set figure.
- A temperature figure from any of the five, where only one states freezer safe at all.
- A weight for the VERONES set, which publishes none, or a believable one for KEMETHY.
- Whether a Yieach divider taken out of one bin will fit another, since three arrive in each.
- Whether any of these lids stay sealed after a cycle through a freezer and back, which none of the five addresses.
