How the Five Compare on the Numbers
The five machines on this sheet split into two groups. The De’Longhi Magnifica Evo, Philips 5500 Series, ICEVIVAL, and EUHOMY are automatic espresso machines with published grind settings and milk systems. The CDKM is an electric moka pot with a single button and no published grinder. The published recipe counts range from 7 on the De’Longhi to 20 presets on the Philips, while the ICEVIVAL and EUHOMY do not publish a recipe count at all.
Grind settings are published as 13 on the De’Longhi and 15 on both the ICEVIVAL and EUHOMY. Brew pressure is published as 20 bar on the ICEVIVAL and EUHOMY, and is not published for the De’Longhi, Philips, or CDKM. Weight is published for all five: the CDKM at 1.5 lb, the Philips at 8.3 kg or 18.3 pounds, the EUHOMY at 19.18 lb, the De’Longhi at 21.16 lb and the ICEVIVAL at 23.8 lb.
The table does not tell you how any machine performs. No one at Lush has used these machines, and no extraction, temperature, or noise figure is published for any of them. The numbers describe what the manufacturer states, not what the machine does in a kitchen.
What Each Machine Publishes About Drinks
Recipe counts and presets
The Philips 5500 Series publishes 20 presets, the highest count on the sheet. The De’Longhi Magnifica Evo publishes 7 one touch recipes, including iced coffee and My Latte. The CDKM publishes a single button for extraction. The ICEVIVAL and EUHOMY do not publish a recipe count, so the number of one touch drinks they offer is unknown.
A published preset count tells you how many drinks the maker states can be selected without manual adjustment. It does not tell you how those drinks taste. The De’Longhi also publishes a My Latte function that saves a personal recipe, and the Philips publishes 4 saved profiles. The ICEVIVAL and EUHOMY publish adjustable volume and strength but no saved profile count.
Milk systems and cleaning
The De’Longhi publishes a LatteCrema system that textures milk and milk alternatives and can be stored in the fridge. The Philips publishes LatteGo with 3 parts, no internal tubes, and a stated 10 second rinse. The ICEVIVAL publishes an automatic milk frother with a detachable container. The EUHOMY publishes an integrated milk frothing system. The CDKM publishes no milk system.
Cleaning is published differently across the group. The Philips states the LatteGo parts are dishwasher safe. The ICEVIVAL publishes a smart self cleaning system that rinses the brewing circuit. The EUHOMY publishes an automatic internal cleaning program and a one touch bean purge. The De’Longhi and CDKM do not publish a cleaning cycle.
What the Numbers Say About Size and Fit
Counter footprint
The CDKM is the smallest machine on the sheet at 6.3 in wide, 4.72 in deep, and 8.27 in high. Among the automatic machines, the EUHOMY publishes a width of 7.32 in, the smallest figure in this set, followed by the ICEVIVAL at 7.36 in. The Philips publishes 9.69 in of width and 14.84 in of height, the largest figures here.
Depth is similar across the four automatic machines. The ICEVIVAL publishes a depth of 17.5 in, the largest figure here, the EUHOMY is 17.36 in, the De’Longhi is 17.32 in, and the Philips is 17.05 in. The CDKM is far shallower at 4.72 in. If counter depth is tight, the published figures are the only guide available.
Weight and handling
The ICEVIVAL is the heaviest at 23.8 lb, followed by the De’Longhi at 21.16 lb and the EUHOMY at 19.18 lb. The CDKM moka pot is the lightest at 1.5 lb. The Philips weight field reads 3.63 lb, which no machine of 9.69 by 17.05 by 14.84 inches could weigh, so this page uses the 8.3 kg the maker states in its own size field, which is 18.3 pounds.
The ICEVIVAL and the EUHOMY each publish a 1.5L water tank and a 200g bean hopper. The CDKM publishes a 340ml capacity across two powder tanks. The De’Longhi and the Philips publish no water tank figure, so the number of drinks between refills cannot be compared for those two. Neither names a tank anywhere in its bullets.
Pressure, Temperature and What Is Not Stated
Two machines publish a bar figure
The ICEVIVAL and the EUHOMY both publish a 20 bar extraction system, and both pair it with 15 grind settings and a 200g bean hopper. The De’Longhi, the Philips and the CDKM publish no bar figure at all. The CDKM states a safety valve and stable pressure without putting a number to either, and the De’Longhi describes its conical burr grinder and its 13 settings instead.
A published bar figure is a pump rating, not a measure of what reaches the cup. Nothing on this page states a brew temperature, a pre infusion time or an extraction time, so two machines that both say 20 bar cannot be separated on that number. What can be compared is what each maker chose to publish, and the two that give a bar figure are also the two that give no recipe count.
Noise, speed and the figures only one maker gives
The Philips is the only one of the five to publish anything about noise or start up time: ready to brew in 3 seconds with QuickStart, sound shielding it calls SilentBrew, certification by Quiet Mark and a stated 40% quieter than earlier models. There is no decibel figure behind the percentage and no earlier model named, so it is a claim rather than a specification.
The other four publish nothing comparable. The ICEVIVAL and the EUHOMY both describe a self cleaning rinse of the brewing circuit, which is about upkeep rather than speed. The De’Longhi publishes removable dishwasher safe parts. The CDKM publishes a thermostat and anti dry running protection. None of the four puts a time, a decibel figure or a temperature against any of it.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
Buyer who wants the most published drink options. The Philips 5500 Series publishes 20 presets and 4 saved profiles. It publishes 9.69 in of width, the largest figure here, so check the counter space before ordering.
Buyer who wants a stated grind range and milk carafe. The De’Longhi Magnifica Evo publishes 13 grind settings and a LatteCrema carafe that stores in the fridge. It publishes 7 one touch recipes and no weight.
Buyer who wants the most published grind settings and a stated bar figure. The ICEVIVAL publishes 15 grind settings, 20 bar extraction, and a 1.5L tank. It is the heaviest at 23.8 lb and publishes a depth of 17.5 in.
Buyer who switches between beans. The EUHOMY publishes 15 grind levels and a 20 bar pump at 19.18 lb, less than the ICEVIVAL at 23.8 lb and the De’Longhi at 21.16 lb. It publishes a one touch bean purge, a self cleaning program and a 1.5L water tank.
Buyer who wants a single button and a small footprint. The CDKM is an electric moka pot at 1.5 lb and 6.3 in wide. It publishes 3 to 6 cup capacity and no grinder, so it is not a bean to cup machine.
What We Could Not Verify

- The Philips weight field reads 3.63 lb against its own stated 8.3 kg.
