How the Five Compare on the Numbers
Two of these five arrive ready to use and three arrive as furniture. SpaceAid ships a steel rack with 28 glass jars and 386 labels. KitHero ships a bamboo rack with 20 jars, 216 labels, 20 aluminum caps and 25 non slip rubber pieces. Famhap, Thalomely and Mulush ship a rack and state a capacity instead.
That split matters for weekend prep more than for everyday cooking, because the work is decanting a bag into a jar and writing what it is on the outside. A rack with a stated capacity of 64 jars is a good rack. It is not a labeling system, and none of the three rack only listings publishes a single label.
What the table cannot tell you is whether the jars in either complete set match jars you already own, because neither SpaceAid nor KitHero publishes a jar dimension. Thalomely publishes a reference jar and supplies none, which is the exact reverse. So the two questions a prep buyer has, what fits and what arrives, are each answered by the listings that cannot answer the other.
What Is Actually in the Box
The Two Complete Sets
SpaceAid itemizes one drawer spice rack, 28 square empty glass jars and 386 labels, with pour or sift tops and metal airtight caps on the jars. The label count breaks down cleanly into 340 preprinted and 46 blank. It publishes a size of 13 by 17.5 by 2.5 inches and 4 lb, and names steel for the tray.
KitHero itemizes more: a four tier rack, 20 glass jars, sift and pour lids, 20 airtight aluminum caps, 216 labels and 25 non slip rubber pieces. It publishes 9 by 15.8 by 3.2 inches with the jars in place and 4.41 lb. Two of its counts do not hold up, which is covered below, but the box is the fuller of the two.
Three Racks and a Capacity Figure
Famhap, Thalomely and Mulush supply no jars and no labels. What they publish instead is a number of slots: up to 36 for Famhap, one per interlocking insert, up to 48 for Thalomely across four tiers, and up to 64 4oz jars for Mulush across its full 26 inch layout. All three state the exclusion plainly.
For weekend prep that leaves a second purchase, and the three differ in how much help they give with it. Thalomely publishes the jar it designed around. Mulush names 4 oz square bottles. Famhap says only that each insert accommodates one jar, which is a layout statement rather than a size.
Counts That Need Reading Twice
KitHero and Its Own Numbers
KitHero states 216 labels and then itemizes one checklist, 184 preprinted labels and 32 blank ones, and those three groups do not come to the total it states. The same listing states 20 dual functional sift and pour lids in its first bullet and 18 in its third, for a set it describes as containing 20 jars.
Neither error changes what the set is for, and the box is still the most complete here. Both are reported because a page that ranks on what arrives has to say when the listing is unsure what arrives. SpaceAid, by contrast, itemizes 340 and 46 against a stated 386 and the figures agree.
Famhap and the Sixth Piece
Famhap states 36 individual interlocking inserts in its title, its size field and its first two bullets. Its closing bullet then refers to a 6 piece kitchen drawer organizer. The rest of the listing is consistent, so the stray figure reads as boilerplate from another product, but it is published and it is recorded here.
What Famhap does publish well is the mechanism. The inserts interlock, which it argues stops the overlapping that expandable racks suffer and keeps everything flat in the drawer. That is the only approach in this group where the layout is built jar by jar rather than chosen from a fixed set of tiers.
Fitting It, Filling It and Keeping It Still
The Drawer Figures
Thalomely is the clearest: the drawer must be deeper than 3.1 inches once jars are standing in the rack, and the rack itself is 1.4 inches high and 17 inches deep, expanding from 12 to 23 inches wide. Mulush asks for an inner height of at least 3.5 inches for 4 oz square bottles, plus 13 or 26 inches of width and 4.75 inches of depth.
The two complete sets are vaguer. KitHero publishes 3.2 inches as its height with jars in and tells you to measure your drawer without stating a requirement. SpaceAid publishes a 2.5 inch rack height and nothing about the jar standing on it, which on a set that includes its own jars is a strange omission.
Movement, and What Each Maker Does About It
KitHero is the only listing here that ships anything for grip: 25 non slip rubber pieces, stated to keep the trays from sliding in the drawer and to prevent the glass jars rolling freely. On a set of 20 glass jars on an inclined board, that is the most practical inclusion in this whole group.
Famhap answers the same question structurally, with interlocking inserts that it says stay flat rather than riding over each other. SpaceAid, Thalomely and Mulush publish nothing at all about movement. All five describe an inclined or tilted presentation so labels can be read, which is common ground and separates nobody.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
Decanting a whole shelf in one weekend. SpaceAid, a steel rack with 28 glass jars and 386 labels, 340 printed and 46 blank, at 13 by 17.5 by 2.5 inches. No drawer requirement is published.
Glass jars that will not roll. KitHero, a bamboo rack with 20 jars, 216 labels and 25 non slip rubber pieces, published at 9 by 15.8 by 3.2 inches with jars in. Two of its counts contradict themselves.
A layout built one jar at a time. Famhap, 36 interlocking plastic inserts at 1.42 lb, stated to stay flat rather than overlap, hand wash only. No jars, no labels and no insert size.
Jars you already own. Thalomely, a bamboo rack expanding from 12 to 23 inches for up to 48 jars, needing more than 3.1 inches of drawer depth, with the reference jar published at 4.3 inches tall by 1.57 inches across.
The biggest published capacity. Mulush, eight bamboo racks laid out to 26 by 19.25 by 1.5 inches for up to 64 4oz jars. Non expandable, 5 lb, and nothing supplied to fill it.
What We Could Not Verify
These are the figures this comparison went looking for and could not source from the listings themselves.
- Why the KitHero label groups do not add up to the 216 it states.
- Whether KitHero supplies 20 sift and pour lids or 18.
- A jar dimension for either complete set. Neither SpaceAid nor KitHero publishes one.
- Any size for the Famhap inserts beyond a package figure of 2.4 by 12.8 by 5.3 in.
- Why the Famhap closing bullet calls it a 6 piece organizer.
- A drawer requirement for SpaceAid, KitHero and Famhap.
