How the Five Compare on the Numbers
The five racks split into two groups on the published figures. KITCHENDAO and WiwiIron both state a pasta capacity, at 5 lb and 13 lb. MUMSUNG, Cambom and Mozphae publish no capacity at all, so for those three the arm count is the only stated guide: 11 arms for MUMSUNG, 10 for Cambom and 12 for Mozphae. That is the single most useful line in the table.
Weight separates them further. Cambom is the lightest at 0.48 lb and MUMSUNG the heaviest at 1.9 lb, a difference of 1.42 lb. KITCHENDAO sits at 0.59 lb. WiwiIron and Mozphae publish no weight, so they cannot be placed in that order. Folded size is published for Cambom alone, at 7.8 inches by 3.5 inches.
The table does not tell you how any of these racks behaves with wet dough, how stable the base feels under a full load, or how the arms hold up over time. None of that is published, and nobody here has used them. It also does not resolve the height question: the listings give three dimensions without saying which is the height of the object.
Capacity and Arm Count Decide the Batch
What the makers state
WiwiIron publishes the largest capacity of the five at 13 lb, spread across 12 arms. KITCHENDAO publishes 5 lb across 8 rods. Those are the only two capacity figures on the sheet, and the gap between them is 8 lb. If you dry in large batches, that stated figure is the one number worth anchoring on.
For the other three, the listing is silent on capacity. MUMSUNG publishes 11 stainless steel arms, Cambom publishes 10 lengthened arms and Mozphae publishes 12 arms at 7.2 inches long. Arm count is a proxy, not a capacity, and the makers do not convert one into the other.
Why arm length matters
Only Mozphae publishes an arm length, at 7.2 inches. Longer arms hold longer strands without folding them over, which matters for tagliatelle, fettuccine and long sheets of lasagne. The other four makers do not publish an arm length, so there is no way to compare them on that basis.
MUMSUNG and WiwiIron both include a transfer wand, and Mozphae includes one as well. KITCHENDAO and Cambom do not list one. A wand lets you move pasta from the machine to the rack without handling it, which is the point of the accessory.
Storage, Material and Cleaning
Folded size and drawer fit
Cambom is the only pick with a published folded size: 7.8 inches by 3.5 inches. That is a drawer-sized footprint, and it is the reason Cambom suits a small kitchen. KITCHENDAO, MUMSUNG, WiwiIron and Mozphae all describe collapsing or detaching, but none of them publishes the folded dimensions.
Weight is the other storage signal. Cambom is the lightest at 0.48 lb, KITCHENDAO is 0.59 lb and MUMSUNG is 1.9 lb. A lighter rack is easier to lift down from a shelf, though the two bamboo picks publish no weight at all.
Materials and cleaning
Two picks are bamboo: WiwiIron and Mozphae, both described as 100 percent natural bamboo. Two are plastic: KITCHENDAO food-grade plastic and Cambom plastic. MUMSUNG uses 304 stainless steel arms on a folding frame. Material affects weight and cleaning, not capacity.
On cleaning, KITCHENDAO is published as dishwasher safe. Cambom is dishwasher top safe or rinse with water. MUMSUNG, WiwiIron and Mozphae describe wiping clean or detaching parts, and none of the three states dishwasher use. That is a real difference if you would rather not hand wash after every batch.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
Small kitchen, drawer storage. Cambom is the pick. It is the lightest at 0.48 lb and the only one with a published folded size, 7.8 inches by 3.5 inches, so you can check the drawer before you buy.
Large batches. WiwiIron states the largest capacity at 13 lb across 12 arms. If you dry a full batch in one go, that published figure is the one to weigh against the rest.
Easiest cleaning. KITCHENDAO is published as dishwasher safe and states a 5 lb capacity across 8 rods. It is the only pick with both a capacity figure and dishwasher safe parts.
Rotating access. MUMSUNG publishes a 360 degree rotating top and 11 stainless steel arms, so you can reach the far side without walking around the rack. It is also the heaviest pick at 1.9 lb.
Long noodle shapes. Mozphae publishes 7.2 inch arms and 12 of them, which suits long strands. It is the only pick that states an arm length at all.
What We Could Not Verify
Several figures that would settle the comparison are simply not on the sheet.
- A pasta capacity for MUMSUNG, Cambom and Mozphae. None of the three publishes one.
- A weight for WiwiIron and Mozphae. Both list no figure.
- A folded size for KITCHENDAO, MUMSUNG, WiwiIron and Mozphae.
- An arm length for KITCHENDAO, Cambom and MUMSUNG.
- A base diameter for any of the five picks.
- Which of the three published dimensions is the height of the object. The listings do not say.
