How the Five Compare on the Numbers
Capacity runs from 18 oz to 64 and the count runs from one bottle to eight, so no single figure describes this group. veegoal is a 25 oz bottle, Ello 20 oz and CIVAGO 64 oz. Mrsdry sells four 18 oz bottles together and AOZITA sells eight of 33 oz. Three of the five are one bottle you carry, and two are sets you fill and put in a fridge.
Weight follows the count rather than the size. veegoal is the lightest of the five at 1.15 pounds. Ello is 1.26 pounds. Both are single bottles. CIVAGO is also one bottle at 2.25 pounds, because it holds 64 oz. The 3.28 pounds on the Mrsdry listing covers four bottles and the 11 pounds on the AOZITA listing covers eight, so neither belongs in the same column as the first three.
What the table cannot tell you is how the glass behaves, because three of the five never name it. Two candidates were left out. One is a 64 oz mason jar pitcher with a handle and a pouring spout, which is a fridge jug rather than a bottle you carry anywhere. The other is the same CIVAGO design in a 32 oz size, published at 3.5 by 3.5 by 9 inches, carrying word for word the same bullets as the 64 oz and no weight at all.
The Lid Is the Whole Bottle
O-rings, flip lids and a steel buckle
Five bottles, five sealing mechanisms. veegoal lines every cap with a silicone O-ring and says the bottle holds whichever way it is put down. Mrsdry uses a stainless lid lined with a rubber O-ring and calls the result airtight. Ello uses a one touch flip lid stated to be engineered for a leak proof seal, and it is the only lid here you open without unscrewing anything.
CIVAGO ships two wide mouth lids, a flip up straw lid and an easy twist spout lid, both stated for one handed or hands free drinking, and publishes nothing about how either seals. AOZITA is the outlier: a swing top closed by a stainless steel buckle onto a plastic and silicone cap stopper, and it is the only listing that says it retains gas.
Two bottles that ship a spare lid
Two of the five give you a second lid, for different reasons. veegoal includes a bamboo lid and an extra stainless steel lid, each lined with its own silicone O-ring, so the same bottle can sit on a desk or go to a gym. CIVAGO includes a straw lid and a spout lid, which is a choice about how you drink rather than how the bottle looks.
The other three give one lid and nothing to swap it for. The Ello flip lid is the part that makes that bottle work one handed, so losing it is losing the bottle. AOZITA includes eight replacement silicone seal caps, which is the most sensible spare on the page, because on a swing top the seal is the part that hardens and starts to seep.
What Glass, and What Happens When It Falls
Borosilicate, named and unnamed
Two of the five name the glass. veegoal states 100 percent borosilicate and lists what it is free of, down to cadmium. Mrsdry states high borosilicate with chemical and impact resistance. Borosilicate is the glass that takes a temperature change without cracking, which is what matters when cold water goes into a bottle that has been sitting in a hot car.
Ello and CIVAGO name nothing. Both talk about the taste of glass and the silicone sleeve without ever saying what the bottle is made from, which on a glass bottle is the specification rather than a detail. AOZITA says heavy duty sturdy transparent glass and lead free, and adds that it is safe in a hot environment or a cold refrigerator, which is a claim about the same property without the word.
The sleeve, and whether it comes off to wash
Four of the five wrap the bottle in silicone and only Ello says what happens at the sink. Its listing states that all parts are top rack dishwasher safe and that the sleeve does not need to be removed for cleaning. That is the most practical sentence on this page, because a sleeve that has to be peeled off after every wash is a sleeve that stops getting put back on.
veegoal, Mrsdry and CIVAGO all describe a food grade silicone sleeve for impact protection and grip, and two of those three state dishwasher safe without mentioning the sleeve at all. AOZITA has no sleeve, which is consistent with what it actually is: eight bottles that live in a fridge or a cupboard rather than in a bag.
Size, Shape and Where It Goes
A cup holder, a backpack and a fridge shelf
Two listings claim a cup holder and only one backs it with a figure you can check. veegoal publishes 2.8 inches across and 9.8 inches high and says it fits most cup holders. Ello publishes 2.75 by 2.75 by 10.75 inches, a slimmer figure than anything else here publishes, and offers a carry loop rather than a cup holder claim.
CIVAGO is a different object. At 4.4 inches across and 10.5 inches high it holds 64 oz, and by the numbers alone it is too wide for a car cup holder. Mrsdry calls its 18 oz bottle slim and says it fits backpacks and car cup holders, but publishes no dimension at all, so that claim cannot be checked against the cup holder in your own car.
One bottle, four bottles or eight
The two sets are not the same purchase as the three single bottles. Mrsdry sells four 18 oz bottles with sleeves and stainless lids, which suits a household buying a bottle per person, or a cook bottling four batches at once. It is also the only pick written around juice, cold brew and kombucha as much as water.
AOZITA goes further in that direction: eight 1 liter swing top bottles with two funnels, two pourers, eight waterproof labels and eight spare seals, aimed at kombucha, kefir and second fermentation. It is a glass water bottle in the sense that water fits in it. What it really is, by its own description, is equipment for making drinks and bottling them.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
The bottle you carry every day. veegoal, at 25 oz in named borosilicate, 1.15 pounds, 2.8 inches across and 9.8 high, with a bamboo lid and a stainless lid both lined with silicone O-rings.
Whoever drinks one handed. Ello. A 20 oz bottle 2.75 inches across with a one touch flip lid, a carry loop, and every part top rack dishwasher safe with the sleeve left in place.
Tracking how much you drink. CIVAGO, at 64 oz with time markers and exact volume printed up the side, a straw lid and a spout lid, published at 4.4 by 4.4 by 10.5 inches.
A household, or a juicing habit. Mrsdry. Four 18 oz high borosilicate bottles with stainless lids on rubber O-rings, called slim and stated dishwasher safe, at 3.28 pounds for the set.
Kombucha, kefir and anything fizzy. AOZITA. Eight 1 liter swing tops with stainless buckles, the only listing here that says it holds gas, plus funnels, pourers, labels and spare seals.
What We Could Not Verify
Six things a buyer would want that these listings do not answer.
- The glass type in the Ello and CIVAGO bottles, neither of which names one.
- Any published dimension for the Mrsdry or AOZITA bottles.
- A weight for a single bottle in either of the two multipacks.
- Whether the veegoal or CIVAGO sleeves have to come off for the dishwasher.
- What units the CIVAGO time markers use, and how far apart they sit.
- Whether any bottle other than AOZITA will hold a carbonated drink.
