How the Five Compare on the Numbers
A drawer closes on whatever stands highest inside it, so this page ranks by published height, and almost nobody in this pool labels one. Two listings do. Mixpresso publishes its size field as 6 In H by 5 In W, and Bekith publishes 4.1 inches in diameter by 6.3 inches high. Those two figures can be checked against a drawer. The rest are three bare numbers.
The other three publish something almost as useful. A second Mixpresso listing gives a size for each canister in a three-piece set: large at 7.6 by 5.7 inches, medium at 6.2 by 5.2 and small at 5.1 by 4.1. Adodeen publishes fields of 3.94 by 3.94 by 6.69 inches. LYHLYA publishes 9.4 by 4.6 by 4.6 inches in its own size field.
What the table cannot tell you is the clearance a lid needs to come off inside a drawer. A clamp that swings up, a hinged bail and a press-on lid all want different room above the canister, and no listing publishes an open height. For a drawer that figure matters as much as the closed one, and none of the sixteen listings gives it.
Two Listings Say Which Figure Is the Height
Six Inches, Marked H
The Mixpresso 16 oz listing puts its dimensions in the size field with the letters attached: 6 In H by 5 In W, alongside 16 oz and about 450 g. Its data fields read 5.2 by 5.2 by 6.0 inches, which agrees. That makes it the only pick here where the closed height is both labeled and confirmed, which is exactly what a drawer needs.
It is also the lower of the two labeled figures on the page and the most crowded canister. Its lid carries a clamp, a food-grade silicone gasket and a one-way CO2 valve, plus a rotating date dial, and a scoop arrives with it. The listing says it fits under standard kitchen cabinets, which is a counter claim rather than a drawer one.
Six Point Three Inches, and a Centimeter in an Inch Slot
Bekith publishes 4.1 inches in diameter by 6.3 inches high in its own words, plus a volume of 36 fl oz, so the shape is unambiguous: a round metal canister a fraction taller than the Mixpresso one. Its lid is bamboo over a rubber seal and the listing states it is lightproof as well as airtight.
Its data fields are a different story, reading 16.3 by 6.3 by 4.0 inches. The tooling flags that as a centimeter figure sitting in an inch slot, and 16.3 centimeters is 6.4 inches, which lands on the maker’s own height. The words are used here and the fields are set aside, which is the same conclusion arrived at twice.
One Set Publishes a Size for Each Canister
Large, Medium and Small, All Measured
The Mixpresso three-piece set does something no other listing in this pool manages: it publishes a size for each canister rather than one figure for the box. Large is 7.6 by 5.7 inches, medium 6.2 by 5.2 and small 5.1 by 4.1, with capacities of 27 oz, 21 oz and 12 oz respectively.
For a drawer that is the most useful data on the page, because it lets you take the small one and leave the other two on a shelf. What the listing does not do is label which figure in each pair is the height, so the 5.1 in the small canister is the height only by inference from the shape of the other two.
What Nesting Does to a Drawer
The same listing states that the canisters nest for compact storage, which in a drawer is a real saving and in use is not, because a nested set has to come apart before anything can be filled. It also publishes press-on lids rather than twist, with a clear front window in each canister to check the level without opening it.
Adodeen goes the other way with a recessed top that lets jars stack on top of each other. In a deep drawer stacking two 6.69 inch jars is a non-starter, and on a shelf it is the point. It publishes a wide opening you can reach the bottom of by hand, and the only dishwasher permission on this page.
Two Picks Are Built for a Counter, Not a Drawer
A Canister Set That Arrives With Its Own Shelf
LYHLYA supplies two 47 oz borosilicate canisters, given also as 1400 ml each, a wooden scoop and a bamboo shelf. A shelf is furniture, and a drawer has no use for it. The listing is included here because its own size field publishes 9.4 by 4.6 by 4.6 inches, and it publishes 4.6 inches twice, so two of its three figures sit under five inches.
It also publishes the fullest capacity data in the pool, stating that 47 oz holds up to 1.3 lb of coffee beans, 1.5 lb of ground coffee, 2.5 lbs of sugar or 1.5 lbs of flour. No other listing translates its volume into a weight of contents at all, let alone four of them. It publishes no washing instruction.
What the Washing Rules Do to Drawer Storage
Four of the five publish a washing instruction and three of them restrict it. Bekith is the strictest: hand wash only, not suitable for dishwasher, microwave or oven. Both Mixpresso listings recommend hand washing, one to protect a lid, a valve and a seal, the other to protect an anti-fingerprint finish.
Adodeen is the only permission here and it is conditional: remove the lid before the jar goes in a dishwasher, and hand wash the lid separately. For a drawer that matters because a canister washed by hand and put away damp is the one that develops a smell, and no listing publishes a drying instruction at all.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
The barista who needs the height confirmed. The Mixpresso 16 oz canister publishes 6 In H by 5 In W with matching data fields, a clamp lid with a silicone gasket and a one-way CO2 valve, a rotating date dial and a matching scoop, at 1.1 lb.
The barista sorting three dry goods. Bekith publishes 4.1 inches in diameter by 6.3 inches high and 36 fl oz per canister, three of them with bamboo lids over rubber seals, stated lightproof. Hand wash only, and no dishwasher.
The barista who wants a small one for the drawer. The Mixpresso three-piece set publishes a size for each canister, 7.6 by 5.7, 6.2 by 5.2 and 5.1 by 4.1 inches, at 27, 21 and 12 oz, with clear windows and press-on lids that nest for storage.
The barista stacking jars on a shelf. Adodeen publishes 3.94 by 3.94 by 6.69 inches and 32 oz in thickened lead-free glass, with a recessed top for stacking, a wide opening and the only dishwasher permission here, lid removed.
The barista building a station rather than a drawer. LYHLYA supplies two 47 oz borosilicate canisters, given also as 1400 ml, on a bamboo shelf with a wooden scoop, and publishes what each holds in beans, grounds, sugar and flour.
What We Could Not Verify
Everything above is the makers’ own published wording, and on a drawer question this pool leaves the crucial label off most of the time.
- Only two of the sixteen listings on this fact sheet say which of their figures is the height.
- No listing publishes the clearance a lid needs to open, which a drawer has to allow as well as the closed height.
- The Mixpresso three-piece set publishes a pair of figures per canister and never labels which is the height.
- Bekith’s data fields hold a centimeter figure in an inch slot, so only its own words describe its shape.
- LYHLYA publishes no washing instruction at all, on glass canisters with bamboo lids.
- No listing publishes a drying instruction, which is the step a hand-wash-only canister actually needs.
