CORTNK’s lid is on powder-coated galvanized steel and the listing ties it to keeping out dust and pet hair. CATORY puts a wooden handle on top of its acacia lid, and ELLDOO a crystal handle on its glass cover, so two of the four lids publish something to grip. ELLDOO’s glass lid is hinged, supported by an internal chain and opened by a crystal handle.

The One That Does Not Close

Yoobro is an open bamboo stand and makes no dust claim beyond keeping filters dry and flat. For a counter that is fine. In a bag it is the wrong shape, because nothing holds the paper in. It is on this page for the figure that matters second, 0.35 lb, which is less than half of what the lidded picks publish.

It also publishes the broadest compatibility list here by some distance: Melitta cone filters in sizes one, two, four and six, Chemex square papers, AeroPress circular filters and Hario V60 papers in three sizes, and a capacity of up to 150. If the kit is built around a V60 or an AeroPress, that list is the reason to look at it.

The listing is clear about what it is for, calling it a display and decorative addition with a vintage charm, and nothing in it suggests the glass is built to be knocked about.

CORTNK’s powder-coated galvanized steel is the most impact-tolerant material on the page and it costs 0.97 lb. PADELE’s acrylic at 0.62 lb is the lighter rigid option. CATORY’s acacia at 0.8 lb and Yoobro’s bamboo at 0.35 lb are both wood, and neither listing says anything about how the wood behaves if it gets wet in a bag.

Cleaning on the Road

Three of the five publish a cleaning method. CORTNK says to wipe the smooth surface with a damp cloth. CATORY says the surface has been treated very smoothly so it is easy to clean and maintain. Yoobro says its bamboo is smoothly finished on all edges and resists moisture.

PADELE and ELLDOO publish no cleaning instruction at all, which is odd on an acrylic box and a glass one, the two materials where a wipe is all you would ever need. On the road, with no sink, the useful property is the one nobody states: whether the inside can be shaken out without the lid coming off.

Size, Shape and the Space in the Bag

CORTNK and CATORY are both round, at a stated 6.2 inch diameter by 6 inches high and 3.5 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter respectively. A round container wastes the corners of a bag but keeps a basket filter from bending, which CORTNK states as its purpose.

PADELE states 9.5 inches long and 5.5 inches wide, which is the biggest plan footprint stated here and a problem for a small bag. Yoobro states 6.4 x 2.8 x 3.4 in, a narrow rectangular stand. ELLDOO states 8.15 x 1.8 x 5.9 in, a flat diamond shape that packs oddly.

The Two Listings That Argue With Themselves

PADELE states 9.5 inches long and 5.5 inches wide in its own bullet while its dimension fields read 2 x 8 x 4 in. Nothing in those two sets agrees. ELLDOO states 8.15 x 1.8 x 5.9 in while its fields read 7.87 x 7.87 x 2.36 in, which look like two different objects.

Where that happens this page uses the maker’s own sentence and names the field it dropped. On a travel page it matters more than usual, because the figure you are packing around is the one you have to trust, and on two of these five there are two candidates and no way to choose between them.

Which One Fits Your Kitchen

Packs a full week of filters. PADELE publishes acrylic, a lid with a hermetic design and up to 100 filters at 0.62 lb. Its stated 9.5 by 5.5 inches is the largest plan figure here and contradicts its own dimension fields.

Building the kit around a V60 or AeroPress. Yoobro publishes 0.35 lb, up to 150 filters and the longest compatibility list on this page. It is an open stand with no lid, so the filters need another bag inside yours.

Setting up a coffee bar, not a kit. ELLDOO publishes thick glass and gold metal at 1.19 lb with a hinged lid on a chain. The listing calls it a display and decorative piece, and that is what it is.
