How the Five Compare on the Numbers
No listing in this pool claims to stack. Not one of the five picks says that two of its rings nest inside each other, or that it ships with a holder, or that it can be stored in a column. So the stacking question has to be answered a different way: by how many separate pieces the purchase leaves you holding, and by the published height of the ring itself.
That gives a real spread. Normcore and KNODOS both publish a 0.79 inch height, TQEONKL 0.98 inches, and the Reoszeank kit 1.57 inches for a box containing three tools. Two of the five are a single ring. Two arrive as a funnel plus a puck screen. One arrives as a funnel, a puck screen and a WDT tool with a wooden handle.
What the table cannot tell you is whether any two of these rings will sit inside one another, because none of the five makers publishes an inner diameter for the ring body. The width and depth figures are the outside of the ring, and the 51mm, 54mm and 58mm labels describe the basket the funnel drops onto rather than the opening at the top of it.
Stacking Is Not a Claim Any of Them Makes
What the Listings Say Instead
Every one of these five listings is written about the moment of dosing and nothing else: magnets that hold the ring on the basket, grounds that go into the basket instead of onto the counter, a tamp that happens with the funnel still in place. Storage appears nowhere. There is no stated hook, no case, no lid, and no claim that one ring will nest into the next.
This is worth stating plainly rather than dressing up, because a page that invented a stacking story would be inventing it. What can be compared is the count of separate items each purchase adds to a drawer, and the height of the ring, both of which are published. On that basis two of these five leave you with one object and three leave you with more.
Why the Piece Count Is the Better Question
A ring 0.79 inches high takes up almost no room whatever you do with it. A puck screen is a flat disc that goes in the same place. A WDT tool has eight stainless needles and a wooden handle, which is a third shape with a third storage problem, and it is the one item in this pool that will not lie flat next to a ring.
So the useful ranking runs from the fewest pieces to the most. Normcore and MATOW are single rings. TQEONKL and KNODOS are a ring plus a disc. Reoszeank is a ring, a disc and a needle tool in a box published at 3.15 by 4.72 by 1.57 inches, which is the only figure here that describes a set rather than a funnel.
The Rings That Arrive Alone
Normcore, and a Magnet Count That Disagrees With Itself
Normcore publishes 2.13 by 2.95 by 0.79 inches and 0.13 pounds for a 54mm ring in 18mm anodized aluminum, with knurling on the side edge for grip that the listing says was inspired by a camera filter lens. It is the only funnel here that publishes a weight below a quarter of a pound, and it is a single object with nothing else in the box.
Its own text does not agree with its own title on the magnets: the title says 8 neodymium magnets and the bullet says 9 line the ring, pressed to fit with no glue. Neither figure can be confirmed from the other, so this page uses neither as a comparison. The listing also warns that on Breville machines with integrated grinders the portafilter holder cannot be used while the funnel is installed.
MATOW, a Bare 58mm Ring You Can Wash
MATOW publishes 3.31 by 3.31 by 0.79 inches for a 58mm ring in 304 stainless steel, stated non rusting, food grade and dishwasher safe, rinsed with water and cleaned with a brush or sponge. It is the only 58mm option in this shortlist and the only single ring here that makes a cleaning claim at all.
It publishes no weight, which is the gap that matters most on a stainless ring, since weight is the one thing that separates a solid ring from a thin pressed one. It also publishes no magnet count and no magnet claim, describing instead a funnel you place on top of the portafilter while grinding, distributing and tamping, then remove.
Sets, and the Third Shape in the Drawer
Two Pieces That Both Lie Flat
KNODOS pairs a 54mm funnel with a stainless steel puck screen, states 12 magnets holding the funnel to the basket so it does not have to come off while tamping, and publishes 2.76 by 2.76 by 0.79 inches at 0.33 pounds. Both pieces are stated food grade and dishwasher safe. It also states outright that it does not fit the integrated grinder slot on several Breville models.
TQEONKL pairs a 51mm anodized aluminum ring at 2.95 by 2.95 by 0.98 inches with a 316 stainless steel puck screen of 1.7mm thickness and 150 micron filtration, and states 4 magnetic points rather than a magnet count. Two flat pieces store the way one does, which is why both of these sets sit above the three piece kit for this particular question.
The Kit With a Needle Tool in It
Reoszeank ships a 51mm magnetic funnel, a reusable puck screen and a WDT tool with a wooden handle and 8 stainless steel needles, stated to fit Delonghi, CASABREWS CM5418 and 3700, atatix and other 51mm portafilters. Its published dimensions of 3.15 by 4.72 by 1.57 inches are the set, not the ring, and the ring’s own size is not published anywhere in the listing.
For a kitchen with a drawer to spare that is a good purchase and the page says so. For the question on this page it is the weakest fit, because a needle tool cannot be stored flat against a ring, it publishes no weight, no material for the funnel, and no dimension you could use to check whether the ring would sit inside another one.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
A 54mm Breville and no drawer space. Normcore is one anodized aluminum ring, 0.79 inches high and 0.13 pounds, with nothing else to keep. Read its note about the portafilter holder on integrated grinder models before you buy, because that limit is stated.
A 58mm machine. MATOW is the only 58mm ring here, in 304 stainless steel, dishwasher safe, published at 3.31 by 3.31 by 0.79 inches. No weight and no magnet count are published, so how firmly it holds is something you will find out yourself.
A 51mm Delonghi and a puck screen you want anyway. TQEONKL gives a 0.98 inch ring and a 316 stainless screen of 1.7mm thickness. Two flat pieces, and the only filtration figure any of these five publishes, at 150 micron.
Tamping without lifting the funnel off. KNODOS states 12 magnets for exactly that, adds a stainless puck screen, and both pieces are dishwasher safe at 0.33 pounds. Check its stated incompatibility with the integrated grinder slot on Breville models first.
Starting from nothing. Reoszeank is the only pick that includes a WDT tool, with 8 needles and a wooden handle, for 51mm baskets. It is three objects rather than one, and the box figure of 1.57 inches high is the only size it publishes.
What We Could Not Verify
These are the figures a storage question needs, and that none of these listings publishes.
- No pick here publishes an inner diameter for the ring body, so whether two of these funnels nest inside each other cannot be answered from the data.
- Not one of the five picks makes any stacking, nesting or storage claim at all.
- MATOW, TQEONKL and Reoszeank publish no weight, so a solid ring cannot be told from a thin one.
- Normcore’s title states 8 magnets and its own bullet states 9, and nothing in the listing reconciles the two.
- Reoszeank publishes dimensions for the set and never for the funnel, so its ring cannot be compared to the other four.
- A dosing cup in this pool publishes no dimensions and no weight of any kind, only a size string with no axis attached to it, which is one reason it is not a pick here.
