watchget publishes the same 5 by 12 inch shape and measures it far more carefully: roughly 0.39 inches at the raised edge and about 0.358 inches across the rest of the mat, with a metric equivalent given as well. It publishes no weight, and it states plainly that only one mat is in the package, which is worth reading twice on a listing this size.

The wider mats and their height fields

Encanto Luxe publishes 10 by 7 inches and a field height of 0.3 inches at 0.75 pounds, which is below the 0.35, 0.358 and 0.4 inch figures the other three publish. It is also the only one of the five whose care instruction is hand washing, with no dishwasher permission anywhere in its text.

Normcore publishes 9.5 by 7.5 inches with 0.4 inches of thickness in its own size line, at 0.93 pounds, and adds a built-in stand for the tamper. That stand is the part that resists a drawer: a mat with a molded slot cannot be pressed flat under a stack of baskets the way a plain rectangle can, and the listing does not say how tall the slot is.

Where the Fields and the Makers Disagree

Normcore is the clearest example on this page. Its own size line reads 9.5 by 7.5 by 0.4 inches, while its published dimension fields read 7.48 by 9.84 by 0.47 inches. Those are not the same mat. This page uses the maker’s sentence, because the fields also swap which figure is which, and a reader measuring a drawer needs one pair of numbers rather than two.
