How the Five Compare on the Numbers
Only three of the five picks publish a diameter, and that is the figure that decides whether a screen seats in your press. IBETTERN publishes 4.0 inches, Boao and Ruilida publish 4 inches, and YMMIND publishes 3.7 inches. MEET GREAT and JIUZI publish no diameter at all, so a reader with either of those two has nothing to check against their own press.
Mesh count is published by two picks. IBETTERN and Ruilida both state a 100 mesh screen. YMMIND, Boao, MEET GREAT and JIUZI describe a fine mesh without a count. Piece counts run from four to eight: IBETTERN ships four, Boao, MEET GREAT and Ruilida ship six, and YMMIND ships eight including a spiral disk and a cross disk.
The table does not tell you how any screen performs in a press. Nobody at Lush has used these filters, and no maker publishes a filtration result measured against another. It also cannot tell you whether a 3.7 inch screen will seat in a press that shipped with a 4 inch screen, because no maker publishes the tolerance of its own housing.
Diameter, Mesh Count and What Each Set Actually States
The diameter question
IBETTERN publishes a 4.0 inch width and a 4.0 inch depth, and its feature text states a 4 inch diameter. That is the most complete dimensional picture in the group. YMMIND publishes 3.7 inches for both width and depth, which is 0.3 inches less than IBETTERN on each figure, and its title describes 3.6 inch screens for a 3.6 inch wide press.
Boao and Ruilida each state a 4 inch diameter in their feature text but publish no width, depth or height. MEET GREAT and JIUZI publish no diameter and no dimensions. For a reader whose press shipped with a 4 inch screen, three picks state a matching figure and two give nothing to check.
Mesh count and hole size
IBETTERN states a 100 mesh screen. Ruilida states a 100 count fine mesh screen. Those are the only two published mesh figures in the group. YMMIND states a higher density screen that filters 99 percent of used grounds, which is a claim rather than a count, and Boao, MEET GREAT and JIUZI state a fine mesh with no number attached.
Hole size is published by two picks. Boao and Ruilida both state a 5/16 inch hole. IBETTERN, YMMIND and MEET GREAT do not publish a hole size. If your press rod or center post requires a specific hole, only two of these five give you a figure to work from.
Pack Size, Hardware and Cleaning Claims
What arrives in each pack
YMMIND is the outlier on hardware. It ships eight pieces: six stainless steel screens plus one spiral disk and one cross disk, which its feature text says connect to the runner rod. No other pick publishes a disk of any kind. IBETTERN ships four screens, and Boao, MEET GREAT and Ruilida each ship six.
Center ring design is stated by three picks. IBETTERN, Ruilida and JIUZI each describe a reinforced metal center ring intended to prevent mesh deformation or fraying. YMMIND does not describe a ring, and MEET GREAT does not either. That is a design statement from the maker, not a durability result.
Cleaning and material claims
All five picks state stainless steel, and four name grade 304 specifically: IBETTERN, YMMIND, MEET GREAT and Ruilida. Boao states stainless steel without a grade. IBETTERN is the only pick that states dishwasher safe cleaning. The other four describe rinsing under running water or a tap.
None of these statements describe how the screens hold up over months of use. They describe what the maker says the product is made of and how it can be cleaned. That is the limit of what the fact sheet supports, and we have not gone beyond it.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
You know your press takes a 4 inch screen. IBETTERN publishes a 4.0 inch diameter, a 0.4 inch height and a 100 mesh screen, and it is the only pick that also states dishwasher safe cleaning. Four screens per pack.
You want the most pieces in one order. YMMIND ships eight pieces including a spiral disk and a cross disk, and it publishes a 3.7 inch width and depth. Check that 3.7 inch figure against your press before ordering, since it is the smallest published size here.
You want a published weight to work from. Boao is the only pick that publishes one, at 0.07 pounds, and it also states a 4 inch diameter and a 5/16 inch hole. Six screens per pack.
Your press is smaller than 8 cups. MEET GREAT is the only pick that states compatibility with 1 to 8 cup presses. It publishes no diameter, so measure your existing screen first. Six filters per pack.
You want a stated mesh count and hole size together. Ruilida publishes a 100 count mesh, a 4 inch diameter and a 5/16 inch hole, and names a long list of press brands in its compatibility text. Six screens per pack.
What We Could Not Verify
Several figures a buyer would want are simply absent from the fact sheet, and we have not filled them in.
- No warranty term is published for any of the five filter sets.
- No mesh count is published for YMMIND, Boao, MEET GREAT or JIUZI.
- No weight is published for IBETTERN, YMMIND, MEET GREAT, Ruilida or JIUZI.
- No hole size is published for IBETTERN, YMMIND or MEET GREAT.
- No width, depth or height is published for Boao, MEET GREAT, Ruilida or JIUZI.
- No maker publishes a filtration result measured against another filter, and nobody at Lush has used these products.
