How the Five Compare on the Numbers
Seven products came back and two of them do not hang from a chain. Sevenblue is a 2 tier countertop basket that stacks on a worktop, which is the opposite of what this page is for. GGIU is a 3 pack of folding wall boxes, each 12.7 by 7.3 by 8.4 inches, with lids and snaps rather than tiers. Both are real products and neither is a hanging tiered basket, so both are out.
The five that remain are all 3 tier chain baskets and they all publish the same two things: an overall height and three basket diameters. Heights run from 25.5 inches to 36.2. What none of them agrees on is the figure that decides how much fruit actually fits, the depth of each basket, and the figure that decides whether it stays on the hook, the load it will take. Each of those is published by exactly one listing.
No weight comparison is possible on this page. Only WILLIZTER publishes what the basket itself weighs, 1.76 pounds, and the other four publish nothing, so there is no spread to report and no lightest or heaviest to name. That also means four of these five give you nothing to judge the wire gauge by, and wire gauge is the whole difference between a basket that keeps its shape under apples and one that sags.
The Two Figures Almost Nobody Publishes
How Deep Each Basket Is
Simple Houseware is the only listing here that publishes basket depths: 2.5 inches at the top, 2.75 in the middle and 3.5 at the bottom, alongside diameters of 7, 9 and 11 inches. That turns three circles into three volumes, and it explains why a tiered basket holds less than it looks: the top tier is a shallow dish a few apples deep.
Every other listing gives diameters only. Blue Donuts publishes 7, 9 and 11 inches round, HULISEN 7, 9 and 11.3, WILLIZTER 7.28, 9.05 and 11.2, FANGSUN 6.7, 8.6 and 10.6. Four sets of three numbers that describe the rim and say nothing about what sits inside it.
What the Hook Will Take
WILLIZTER is the only listing that states a load: heavy duty metal wire construction for a maximum capacity of 10 pounds. That is the number that matters on a basket hanging from one ceiling hook, and it is also the number most easily mistaken for something else, because it appears in pounds next to a product weighing 1.76 pounds.
The other four publish no capacity at all. HULISEN says sturdy iron that is not easy to deform and can be used stably for a long time. Blue Donuts says heavy duty. FANGSUN says open wire baskets on metal chains and rings. Simple Houseware says nothing. Those are assurances rather than limits, and none of them tells you when a shelf of oranges becomes too much.
Where These Hang, and What Comes With Them
Three Listings Include the Hardware
FANGSUN supplies a leaf shaped wall bracket with hardware and says you can use a ceiling hook instead, which is the only listing here that gives you both options in writing. HULISEN supplies a black hanging bracket and screws and describes the installation as vertical, with better control of the height. Simple Houseware supplies a hook, a chain and two extra hooks.
WILLIZTER supplies an extra heavy top hook and nothing for a wall. Blue Donuts publishes no hardware at all: its bullets describe an adjustable chain and a matte black finish and never say what you hang it from. For a basket carrying fruit above a worktop, that is the one omission with a consequence.
Adjusting the Gaps Between Tiers
Four of the five can be adjusted and they do it two ways. Blue Donuts and Simple Houseware both use an adjustable chain, which changes the whole drop. WILLIZTER uses adjustable tier clips and HULISEN puts three mounting clips on each level, which changes the space between tiers so a pineapple can sit under a bowl of lemons.
FANGSUN is the exception. It describes chains and rings, tool free assembly of the basket body and a 36.2 inch overall height, and never says the spacing can be changed. That is not a fault at 36.2 inches, which is the largest height figure on this page, but it is a fixed object once it is up.
The Listing That Contradicts Itself Three Times
30 Inches, 34 Inches, Gold and a Pack of 29
Simple Houseware publishes the most useful figures in this pool and the least reliable metadata. Its title gives 11 inches wide by 11 long by 30 high, and its dimension field gives a height of 34.0. Its size field reads Modern Pack of 29, which describes nothing on a single hanging basket. Its color field reads Gold under a title that says black.
The maker’s own sentence is the one used here, so 30 inches is the height on this page and 34 was discarded. The depths and diameters come from its own bullet too, which is internally consistent: 7, 9 and 11 inch diameters with 2.5, 2.75 and 3.5 inch depths, top to bottom. Three broken fields do not make the bullets wrong.
Where the Other Four Land
WILLIZTER, HULISEN and Blue Donuts all publish fields that match their own words, at 25.5, 36 and 29 inches. FANGSUN is out by a rounding, 35.8 in the field against 36.2 in the bullet, which is close enough to be the same object measured twice. So four of the five can be planned around from either source.
That matters because height is what decides whether a tiered basket clears the worktop. A 36.2 inch unit under a standard wall cabinet will not, and a 25.5 inch unit may leave the bottom basket at eye level. Only two listings mention the point at all, and both do it in terms of freeing the counter rather than fitting the space above it.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
A ceiling hook and a lot of fruit. WILLIZTER is the only pick stating a load, 10 pounds, in hand forged wrought iron with adjustable tier clips, diameters of 7.28, 9.05 and 11.2 inches and a 25.5 inch drop. It is also the only one publishing its own weight, 1.76 pounds.
Working out what actually fits. Simple Houseware is the only listing publishing basket depths, 2.5, 2.75 and 3.5 inches under 7, 9 and 11 inch diameters, with a hook, a chain and two extra hooks. Use its 30 inch title height, not the 34.0 in the field.
Grapes, cherries and anything small. HULISEN adds a round metal plate at the bottom specifically to stop small fruit dropping through, plus a removable banana hook, three adjustable clips per level and a bracket with screws, at 36 inches tall with 7, 9 and 11.3 inch baskets.
A wall rather than a ceiling. FANGSUN includes a leaf shaped wall bracket and hardware and states that a ceiling hook works too, on a 36.2 inch unit with 6.7, 8.6 and 10.6 inch baskets and a removable banana hook. Its tier spacing is not described as adjustable.
A plain basket on an adjustable chain. Blue Donuts publishes 7, 9 and 11 inch baskets at 29 inches hanging, with a matte black finish, an adjustable chain and baskets that separate for use on their own. It publishes no hardware, no material and no capacity.
What We Could Not Verify
Every figure above comes from the makers’ own listings. These are the things we went looking for and could not source.
- Four of the five publish no weight at all, so no weight comparison is possible anywhere on this page.
- Only Simple Houseware publishes basket depths, so what the other four baskets actually hold cannot be worked out.
- Only WILLIZTER states a load capacity, so the other four give no limit for a basket hanging from one hook.
- No listing publishes a wire gauge or a chain rating, so the word heavy duty is the whole strength claim on three of them.
- Blue Donuts publishes no hanging hardware and no material, so what it is made of and what it hangs from are both unstated.
- No listing publishes a warranty period, and only the excluded countertop basket offered any guarantee at all.
