How the Five Compare on the Numbers
These five split into two jobs. HYF DESIGN and Oxepleus are dishwasher labels with a slider that moves between clean and dirty, both around 7 inches long. Brothers Bench, Azefnuhk and FridayVibez are bin labels that say trash or recycling and never change. The first pair has a moving part, which is the only mechanism on this page and the only thing here that can break.
Size follows the job. HYF DESIGN is 7.1 by 1.5 inches and Oxepleus 7 by 2 by its own text, both narrow strips for the edge of a door. Brothers Bench is a 3.5 inch square, Azefnuhk 5.4 by 2.7 inches and FridayVibez 6.5 by 3, which are three different shapes for the same bin. Published weights run from 0.08 pounds to 0.24.
What the table cannot settle is the Oxepleus size. Its own text says 7 by 2 inches while its dimension fields read 6.69 by 1.97, so the row above follows the maker. Three candidates were left out: a second 3.5 inch square pair with no brand identity and the same claims as the Brothers Bench, a set of twelve small decorative heart magnets that label nothing at all, and a pack of 170 adhesive pantry stickers, which are labels without being magnetic.
Two Different Jobs Under One Name
The sliders, and what holds them
A clean and dirty label only works if the slider stays where you left it. HYF DESIGN describes the mechanism in detail: a double magnet locking system with an exterior strong magnet and an interior sliding stopper, stated to prevent accidental shifts even during vigorous door movements. That is the only listing on this page that explains how its moving part is actually held.
Oxepleus reaches the same problem in plainer language, calling it an upgraded anti error sliding design and saying it found the balance between holding the slider in place and letting it slide without obstruction. Both are describing the identical failure, a label that still reads clean after somebody has slammed the door. Only one of the two names the parts that stop it.
The bin labels, and why they are three shapes
The three bin magnets do one job in three formats. Brothers Bench is a 3.5 inch square pair in black and white. Azefnuhk is 5.4 by 2.7 inches and uses black for trash and green for recycling, which is the only color coded pair here. FridayVibez is 6.5 by 3 inches, a longer rectangle that reads across the front of a lid rather than sitting on top of it.
Shape decides where a label can go. A 3.5 inch square fits the lid of a small can or the flat front of a larger one. A 6.5 inch strip wants a wide flat face and looks wrong on a narrow bin. Azefnuhk sits between the two at 5.4 by 2.7 inches. None of the three publishes a bin size it was designed for, so the measurement is the entire guidance.
Sticking to a Door That Is Not Metal
Two pairs of adhesive pads
The most useful thing both dishwasher labels do is admit that a magnet may not stick. HYF DESIGN includes two non-slip adhesive pads for the plastic or glass panels of dishwasher machines. Oxepleus includes two double-sided self-adhesive stickers for any non magnetic dishwasher, and says plainly that they are optional and used for non magnetic surfaces.
That is a real problem rather than a hedge. A dishwasher front can be stainless, painted steel, plastic or a glass panel, and a magnet works on only some of those. Both listings answer it, and neither says how well the adhesive holds through a cycle’s worth of steam, or whether a pad can be replaced once it has been peeled off.
What the magnets alone are asked to do
None of the three bin labels ships an adhesive backup. Brothers Bench states its magnets remain fixed to the front or top of a can with a lid and that they are stainless steel safe. Azefnuhk names powerful soft magnets for any stainless steel surface, and adds the benefit of that approach, that it applies, repositions and removes without residue.
FridayVibez says robust magnets adhering securely and leaves it there. That matters because a kitchen bin gets opened with a foot and knocked with a hip, and a plastic bin has no magnetism at all. Two of the three name stainless steel specifically. Not one of the five publishes a pull strength figure, which is the number that would settle any of this.
Material, Finish and What Survives a Kitchen
Stainless, wood and laminated soft magnet
Only three of the five name a material. HYF DESIGN is stainless steel, described as corrosion resistant and scratch proof with an anti-fingerprint coating and both brushed and mirror finishes. Oxepleus is a 3D wood farmhouse design behind a transparent panel, with a soft silicone backing. Azefnuhk is laminated soft magnetic material, stated scratch resistant.
Brothers Bench and FridayVibez name nothing. Brothers Bench does say its magnets are scratch resistant and safe on stainless steel, and that they are designed and printed in the USA, which is the only country statement on this page. FridayVibez publishes a description of its design and nothing else: no material, no finish, and no durability claim beyond the word robust.
Thickness, weight and where it shows
Thickness decides whether a label looks applied or looks stuck on. Brothers Bench publishes 0.1 inches and FridayVibez 0.11, which is a printed sheet magnet and little more. Oxepleus publishes 0.24 inches, because there is a slider and a panel inside it. HYF DESIGN and Azefnuhk publish no thickness at all, which on a stainless assembly is the figure worth having.
Weight follows the same pattern. HYF DESIGN is the heaviest of the four that publish one at 0.24 pounds, which is about what a stainless assembly weighs. Oxepleus is 0.15 pounds, FridayVibez 0.13, and Brothers Bench the lightest at 0.08 pounds for two magnets. On a dishwasher door, more weight is more for a magnet to hold up against gravity.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
A stainless dishwasher you open every day. HYF DESIGN. A 7.1 by 1.5 inch stainless strip with double magnet locking and an interior sliding stopper, an anti-fingerprint coating, and two adhesive pads for a glass or plastic panel.
A kitchen with a farmhouse look. Oxepleus. Seven by 2 inches of 3D wood design behind a transparent water resistant panel, with a soft silicone back and two double-sided stickers for a non magnetic door.
A pair of small bins side by side. Brothers Bench. Two 3.5 inch squares in black and white at 0.1 inches thick and 0.08 pounds, stated stainless steel safe and printed in the USA.
Anyone who sorts by color. Azefnuhk. Two laminated soft magnets at 5.4 by 2.7 inches, black for trash and green for recycling, stated to reposition and remove without leaving residue.
A wide lid or a flat bin front. FridayVibez. Two 6.5 by 3 inch rectangles at 0.11 inches thick and 0.13 pounds, which cover more of a lid than either other bin pair here.
What We Could Not Verify
Six things a buyer would want that these listings do not answer.
- A magnetic pull strength figure for any of the five.
- Material on the Brothers Bench or FridayVibez magnets.
- Thickness for the HYF DESIGN or Azefnuhk labels.
- A published weight for the Azefnuhk pair.
- Whether the adhesive pads on either dishwasher label can be replaced.
- What bin size any of the three bin labels was designed for.
