Cambom Collapsible Pasta Drying Rack - Spaghetti Noo...
A published 0.48 lb with 10 lengthened arms and four rubber feet, folding to 7.8 inches high by 3.5 inches wide, assembling by hand with no tools, and stated top rack dishwasher safe.
- 0.48 lb
The deciding specification is published weight against published load, because the three plastic racks here weigh under 0.6 lb and only one of them says what it will hold.
By the Lush Editorial Team·Researched & Compared
I compared published weight, material, arm count and length, load rating, folded and assembled sizes and assembly across five pasta drying racks, using each listing's own text.

A published 0.48 lb with 10 lengthened arms and four rubber feet, folding to 7.8 inches high by 3.5 inches wide, assembling by hand with no tools, and stated top rack dishwasher safe.

A published 0.57 lb with 10 lengthened arms and the only load figure on this page, up to 4 lb of fresh noodles, folding to 7.8 inches high by 3.5 inches wide on four rubber feet.

A published 0.59 lb of food grade BPA free plastic with rotatable arms, a stated 15 second setup, dishwasher safety, and an assembled size of 11.97 by 17.28 by 11.77 inches.

A published 1.85 lb of natural wood with 9 arms of 8.3 inches, standing 15.7 inches tall on a heavy 6.7 inch round base, assembling and disassembling without screws or tools.

A published 1.9 lb with 11 pieces of 304 stainless steel, a 360 degree rotating top, an adjustable height reaching 23.6 inches, a reinforced triangular base and a ravioli wheel.

Cambom publishes 0.48 lb, the lightest here, folding to 7.8 by 3.5 inches. Ourokhome publishes 0.57 lb and the only load figure in the pool, up to 4 lb of fresh noodles. KITCHENDAO publishes 0.59 lb, rotatable arms and a 15 second setup. Tinada publishes 1.85 lb of wood on a heavy 6.7 inch base. MUMSUNG publishes 1.9 lb of 304 stainless with a rotating top and a ravioli wheel.
“A rack has to carry many times its own weight in wet dough.”

Cambom publishes 0.48 lb, Ourokhome 0.57 lb and KITCHENDAO 0.59 lb, so the three plastic racks sit within a tenth of a pound of each other. Tinada publishes 1.85 lb of natural wood and MUMSUNG 1.9 lb of 304 stainless steel, which is nearly four times the lightest. Two more racks in the same pool, both bamboo, publish no weight at all, which is why neither appears on this page.
The listings barely let you check. Ourokhome publishes 0.57 lb and states it holds up to 4 lb of fresh noodles, which is the only load figure among these five. Among the racks left off this page, WiwiIron publishes 13 lb of capacity on a bamboo frame and no weight of its own. So the one data point available suggests a half pound plastic rack carries several times its own weight, and nothing else in the pool confirms or contradicts it.
Cambom and Ourokhome both publish a folded size of 7.8 inches high by 3.5 inches wide, which is the only figure here you can hold against a drawer. KITCHENDAO says it is collapsible and fits nicely in a drawer or cabinet without publishing a size. Tinada says it disassembles without tools and MUMSUNG says it folds quickly, and neither gives a number for the folded state.
Cambom and Ourokhome look like it. Both publish 10 lengthened arms, four rubber feet, assembly by hand with no screws or tools, and an identical folded size of 7.8 inches high by 3.5 inches wide, and both list the same run of pasta shapes. Their published weights differ by less than a tenth of a pound. The differences are that Ourokhome publishes a 4 lb load and no assembled size, while Cambom publishes 15.7 by 15.7 by 11.0 inches and dishwasher safety.
It depends how often you make pasta. Tinada puts its 1.85 lb into a heavy 6.7 inch round base and 9 arms of 8.3 inches. MUMSUNG puts its 1.9 lb into 11 pieces of 304 stainless, a 360 degree rotating top, an adjustable height to 23.6 inches, a transfer wand and a ravioli wheel. Both are answering the problem of a loaded rack moving on the counter with mass, where the plastic racks answer it with rubber feet.
Two of these five say. Cambom states top rack dishwasher safety or a rinse under water. KITCHENDAO states it is dishwasher safe. Ourokhome, Tinada and MUMSUNG publish no cleaning instruction at all, which on a wooden rack and an eleven piece steel one leaves the obvious question open. Among the excluded racks, WiwiIron says its bamboo wipes clean, which is the answer a wooden rack usually needs.
Specifications come from the manufacturers' own published listings. Lush Food & Drink may earn a commission if you buy through a link on this page, at no extra cost to you. How we research.
Seven racks are on the fact sheet and two are left off for the same reason: neither publishes a weight. WiwiIron is bamboo with 12 arms and states it holds up to 13 lb of fresh pasta. Mozphae is bamboo with 12 arms of 7.2 inches and offers 12, 14 or 16 arms across two heights. Both are perfectly good racks and on a page about how much the rack itself weighs, a listing with no weight has nothing to be compared on.
The five that remain split three to two. Cambom, Ourokhome and KITCHENDAO are plastic and all three publish weights within a tenth of a pound of each other. Tinada is natural wood at 1.85 lb and MUMSUNG is 304 stainless steel at 1.9 lb, which is nearly four times the lightest rack here.

Two of these listings are close enough to be the same product. Cambom and Ourokhome both publish 10 lengthened arms, four rubber feet, assembly by hand with no screws, and an identical folded size of 7.8 inches high by 3.5 inches wide. Their published weights differ by less than a tenth of a pound, and only one of them publishes what the rack will hold. What no listing publishes is arm spacing, so how many strands fit before they touch is unknown everywhere.
Cambom publishes 0.48 lb, the lightest of the five. Ourokhome publishes 0.57 lb and KITCHENDAO 0.59 lb. All three are collapsible plastic, all three assemble without tools, and all three are light enough to lift down from a high shelf with wet hands, which is the practical argument for the whole category.
The differences are elsewhere. KITCHENDAO publishes rotatable arms, a setup time of 15 seconds and dishwasher safety, and gives an assembled size of 11.97 by 17.28 by 11.77 inches. Cambom publishes a larger assembled figure of 15.7 by 15.7 by 11.0 inches and states top rack dishwasher safety or a rinse. Ourokhome publishes no assembled size at all, only the folded one.
Tinada publishes 1.85 lb of natural wood: 9 arms of 8.3 inches, a stated height of 15.7 inches and a heavy 6.7 inch round base, and the word heavy is the maker’s. MUMSUNG publishes 1.9 lb, the heaviest of the five, with 11 pieces of 304 stainless steel including a transfer wand, a reinforced triangular base and an adjustable height reaching 23.6 inches.
That weight is the point rather than a penalty. A rack loaded with wet pasta wants a base that will not move, and both of these publish one specifically: a weighted round base and a reinforced triangle. The plastic racks answer the same problem with four rubber feet, which is a grip solution rather than a mass one, and nothing in any listing says which works better.
Ourokhome publishes the only load figure among these five: up to 4 lb of fresh noodles, on a rack weighing 0.57 lb. That is the ratio that matters and it is the single most useful number on this page, because a rack has to carry roughly seven times its own weight in wet dough without walking across the counter.
Cambom, which appears to be the same rack under another name, publishes no load figure at all. Neither does KITCHENDAO, Tinada or MUMSUNG. Of the two bamboo racks left off this page, WiwiIron publishes 13 lb, which suggests what heavier construction buys, and it publishes no weight of its own to set against it.
Four of these five describe large capacity without a figure. Tinada says its 9 arms of 8.3 inches can hold a large amount of pasta and dry large batches in one go. MUMSUNG says its 11 arms offer plenty of space. KITCHENDAO says large capacity in a bullet heading. Cambom says 10 lengthened arms can hang more noodle.
Arm length is the closest thing to a substitute and only two publish it: Tinada at 8.3 inches and, among the excluded bamboo racks, Mozphae at 7.2 inches. Cambom and Ourokhome both call their arms lengthened without measuring them, and MUMSUNG publishes a count and no length. So on three of these five neither the arms nor the load is quantified.
Cambom and Ourokhome both publish a folded size of 7.8 inches high by 3.5 inches wide, which is the figure that decides whether the rack lives in a drawer. KITCHENDAO says it is collapsible and fits nicely in a drawer or cabinet without giving a figure. Tinada says it disassembles without tools and MUMSUNG says it folds quickly, neither with a number.
For a small kitchen the folded figure is worth more than the assembled one, because the rack is in use for an hour and in storage for the rest of the week. It is also the measurement that separates the two identical plastic racks from the rest: 3.5 inches wide goes in a drawer, and nothing else here publishes anything that can be checked against a drawer at all.
MUMSUNG publishes the most features and it is the heaviest rack here for a reason: a 360 degree rotating top so arms can be reached without walking round the counter, an adjustable height, a transfer wand among its 11 pieces, and a ravioli wheel in the box. KITCHENDAO publishes rotatable arms, which is a smaller version of the same idea.
Whether any of that is worth 1.9 lb depends on how much pasta gets made. For an occasional batch the folded size and the weight decide it, and Cambom’s 0.48 lb folding to 3.5 inches wide is the extreme end of that argument. For someone rolling sheets every week, a rotating top and a transfer wand are the parts that stop pasta ending up on the floor.
The lightest rack that folds smallest. Cambom, 0.48 lb with 10 lengthened arms and four rubber feet, folding to 7.8 inches high by 3.5 inches wide, assembling by hand and stated top rack dishwasher safe.
Knowing what it will hold. Ourokhome, 0.57 lb with 10 lengthened arms and the only load figure on this page, up to 4 lb of fresh noodles, folding to the same 7.8 by 3.5 inches. It publishes no assembled size.
Setting it up in seconds. KITCHENDAO, 0.59 lb of food grade BPA free plastic with rotatable arms, a stated 15 second setup and dishwasher safety, published at 11.97 by 17.28 by 11.77 inches assembled.
A base that will not move. Tinada, 1.85 lb of natural wood with 9 arms of 8.3 inches, 15.7 inches tall on a heavy 6.7 inch round base, assembling and disassembling without tools.
Making pasta every week. MUMSUNG, 1.9 lb with 11 pieces of 304 stainless steel, a 360 degree rotating top, an adjustable height to 23.6 inches, a reinforced triangular base, a transfer wand and a ravioli wheel.
Every figure above comes from the maker’s own listing text. These are the things we went looking for and could not source in any of them.
