How the Five Compare on the Numbers
One listing was left out on the page’s own terms. ClosetMaid ships all the hardware for assembly and installation to a base cabinet, which means screws into someone else’s woodwork. It is a good permanent fitting and it is the wrong purchase for a place you will hand back. Its own figures also disagree: it states 5.25 by 11.13 by 20 inches while its fields read 4.29 by 7.87 by 1.93.
The five that remain sort by one question: what does the unit ask you to do to the cabinet. Three attach with adhesive film and nothing else. One offers adhesive or screws. And one asks for nothing at all, because it stands on its own feet and its baskets lift out to be used loose, which in a studio is a different kind of product.
What the table cannot tell you is how any adhesive behaves when you try to remove it. All four of the fixed units attach with a film or a tape, and not one publishes a removal method, a residue claim, or whether the film can be reused if the unit is moved. For a place you will leave, that is the figure the listings should carry and none of them does.
A Rental Is a Reason Not to Fix Anything
The Only Unit That Needs No Cabinet
Simple Houseware is the outlier and it is here for that reason. It publishes four non slip feet stated to keep the unit steady on smooth surfaces, a two tier frame at 14.4 by 8.3 by 9.8 inches, and baskets that lift out completely for refilling or to be used as a standalone. Nothing on the listing mentions adhesive, screws or a cabinet at all.
In a studio that changes what the product is. It works under a sink, on an open shelf, on a countertop or inside a wardrobe, and it comes away without leaving anything behind. It is also 1.0 pound against 3.5 to 4.61 on the steel units, and its own listing says best for lightweight items, meaning toiletries and medicines rather than pans.
The Only Unit That Folds
Eyteenokk publishes the other feature a temporary home rewards: each basket is stated foldable for storage. That means the thing can go flat in a box when you move rather than travelling as a rigid steel frame. It also publishes two installation options, adhesive for a drill free setup or screws for extra stability, so the same product suits a rental or a house.
The baskets are the largest published here, 15.7 by 11.8 by 7.9 inches each, with 7.9 inch sides stated to hold tall bottles without tipping, removable dividers, and a stated load of up to 10 kg. It publishes no weight of its own and no dimension fields, so what arrives in the box can only be inferred from the basket figures.
What the Adhesive Three Ask of You
Frameless Only, and Two Minimum Openings
Halyuhn and Kitstorack both open with the same warning: the organizer is for frameless cabinets only and will not fit a cabinet with a face frame around the door. That single line rules out a large share of older rented kitchens before any measurement matters, and both listings put it first rather than burying it, which is to their credit.
Both also publish a minimum opening. Halyuhn asks for at least 7 inches wide against its own 5.9 inch basket. Kitstorack asks for at least 13 inches wide and 17 inches deep against its 11.8 by 15.7 inch tray. ULIKEUS publishes no minimum at all and instead tells you to measure and mentions five sizes without listing them.
Slides You Cannot Take With You
The mechanism is the reason these three are fixed rather than free. Kitstorack publishes 3 stage full extension ball bearing slides, which is the most specific mechanism in the pool and the reason its tray reaches all the way out of a 15.7 inch deep cabinet. ULIKEUS publishes a built in steel ball that draws smoothly. Halyuhn publishes a smooth glide system it states has been tested.
All three of those slides are mounted to the cabinet floor by adhesive, so the slide is only as good as the film under it. None of the three publishes a load rating to go with the slide, which is the combination that matters: a full extension slide carrying pans is pulling on a strip of tape. Kitstorack and ULIKEUS both claim strong load bearing and neither gives a figure.
What Each Basket Is Rated to Carry
Ten Kilograms, and Four Adjectives
Eyteenokk is the only listing in this pool that publishes a load figure: up to 10 kg per basket, on powder coated steel. Every other listing here describes its capacity in words. Kitstorack states excellent load bearing strength and sturdy construction. ULIKEUS states strong load bearing and a specially selected thick layer plate. Halyuhn states robust sturdiness and durability, tested.
Simple Houseware is the only one that admits a limit, stating that it is best for lightweight items and naming toiletries, medicines and other small essentials. That is more useful than an adjective, because it tells you what the product is not for. A woven two tier unit on four feet is not going to hold a stack of cast iron and the listing does not pretend otherwise.
The Weight of the Unit Itself
The weights split the pool in two. Simple Houseware is 1.0 pound. ULIKEUS is 3.5, Halyuhn is 4.6 for two baskets and Kitstorack is 4.61 for one. Eyteenokk publishes nothing. That gap is the woven frame against powder coated carbon steel, and it maps directly onto what each will hold and onto how firmly each needs to be attached.
It also matters for moving. Four and a half pounds of steel per basket is a real thing to pack, which is what makes Eyteenokk’s foldable claim more interesting than it first looks, and what makes Simple Houseware’s 1.0 pound the easy answer for anyone who expects to move again inside a year.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
You cannot fix anything to anything. Simple Houseware stands on four non slip feet at a published 14.4 by 8.3 by 9.8 inches, two tiers with an adjustable divider, baskets that lift out to be used loose, a woven build stated to last in high humidity, and 1.0 pound. Its own listing says lightweight items only.
You expect to move again soon. Eyteenokk ships two baskets stated foldable for storage, each 15.7 by 11.8 by 7.9 inches with 7.9 inch sides for tall bottles, removable dividers, a stated load of up to 10 kg, and a choice of adhesive for a drill free setup or screws for extra stability.
Your cabinet opening is barely there. Halyuhn asks for an opening of at least 7 inches wide, ships two baskets at 15.8 by 5.9 by 5.9 inches, fixes with self adhesive film and no screws, and publishes a smooth glide system it states has been tested. It is frameless cabinets only and publishes no load figure.
You want the tray to come all the way out. Kitstorack publishes 3 stage full extension ball bearing slides on a tray of 11.8 by 15.7 by 6.2 inches with 6.2 inch sidewalls against spills, in powder coated carbon steel at 4.61 pounds. It needs a frameless cabinet at least 13 inches wide and 17 inches deep.
You need a size the others do not make. ULIKEUS states it comes in five sizes and asks you to measure first, with a built in steel ball slide, adhesive tape on the base, a thick coated steel plate and 3.5 pounds. Its dimensions appear only in the fields, at 9.45 by 11.81 by 8.46 inches.
What We Could Not Verify
Every fixed unit here is held by a film and not one says how it comes off.
- No listing publishes a removal method, a residue claim or whether the adhesive film can be reused after a move.
- Only Eyteenokk publishes a load figure; the other four describe capacity in adjectives.
- Eyteenokk publishes no weight of its own and no dimension fields, only the size of each basket.
- ULIKEUS states five sizes and lists none of them, and publishes no minimum cabinet opening.
- Simple Houseware publishes no load figure at all, only the statement that it is best for lightweight items.
- Halyuhn names no coating on its black metal and publishes no slide type beyond a smooth glide system.
