How the Five Compare on the Numbers
Buying drinkware for a kitchen rather than for a commute changes the question entirely. It stops being which tumbler and becomes how many, and how many other pieces come with them. These five purchases contain four cups, five, four, three and one, and the piece counts behind those cups run from three to twenty one.
Capacity then splits the group. MEWAY and FristChoice both publish 20 ounces per cup, the largest here. Yummy Sam publishes 12 ounces, ZEAYEA 10 and Shradha 10.1. Two of the five publish an actual cup measurement, and three leave you with only the ounce figure and a photograph to judge the shape from.
One figure in that last row does not belong. MEWAY publishes 0.44 pounds for a purchase containing four insulated steel tumblers, four lids, four straws and two brushes, and a single 20 ounce tumbler elsewhere in this group weighs more than twice that on its own. This page does not rank anything on it, and nothing below is built on that number.
How Many Cups, and How Many Parts
Multipacks with everything
MEWAY publishes four 20 ounce tumblers with four splash proof covers, four bent stainless straws and two straw brushes: fourteen pieces from one purchase, powder coated, in 18/8 steel, with 6 hours hot and 12 hours cold claimed. For a household that wants matching insulated cups for four people, that is the whole job in one box.
Yummy Sam publishes a twenty one piece set built around five 12 ounce cups, with two in one lids, straws and non-slip heat insulated sleeves in different colors so children can tell them apart. What the listing never does is itemize the twenty one, so the count is a claim rather than a list, and a buyer cannot check it until the box is open.
Cups with no lids at all
ZEAYEA publishes four 10 ounce double wall glasses measuring 3 inches across and 3.5 inches high, sold for whiskey and old fashioned cocktails. No lids, no straws, nothing else. Shradha publishes three 10.1 ounce tumblers at 3 by 3 by 4 inches in brushed 18/8 with a rolled rim, again with nothing added.
Those two are the honest answer to a different question. A kitchen needs drinking glasses as well as travel cups, and unbreakable steel ones with no lid to lose are the ones that go outdoors, get handed to children and come back. Neither listing claims vacuum insulation, and ZEAYEA is explicit that its double wall is there to keep a hand comfortable.
Where the Insulation Claims Stop
Two publish hours, three do not
MEWAY and FristChoice both publish the same pair of figures: around 6 hours hot and 12 hours cold, from double wall vacuum construction. MEWAY describes the cold figure in an unusual way, as the time an ice cake takes to melt completely, which is at least a description of a test rather than a bare number.
ZEAYEA publishes a double wall and no hours, and is careful to frame the wall as comfort rather than performance: the drink stays at temperature longer and the glass does not get too cold to hold. Yummy Sam publishes insulated sleeves rather than an insulated wall, which protects a child’s hands from a cold drink. Shradha publishes no insulation claim at all.
What a single tumbler buys instead
FristChoice is the only single cup purchase here, and it spends the difference on features rather than quantity: a 20 ounce body in 18/8 steel with an electropolished interior, an ergonomic handle with anti-slip texture, a leak-proof lid, a straw and a straw brush, with dishwasher permission stated.
It publishes 3.4 by 3.4 by 6.9 inches in its fields, so the shape is at least documented, and it claims a base that fits a cup holder. Against a four cup set it looks expensive in space rather than in pieces, and the handle is the part none of the multipacks offer.
Materials, Washing and What Survives a Kitchen
Grades and finishes
Four of these five name the steel. MEWAY, Shradha and FristChoice all publish 18/8, Yummy Sam publishes 304, and ZEAYEA publishes stainless steel with no grade at all. 18/8 and 304 describe the same family, and none of these listings publishes a wall thickness, so the grade is the only material information on the table.
The finishes differ more usefully. MEWAY publishes a powder coating and calls it anti-slip, Shradha publishes a brushed matte finish with a rolled rim, FristChoice publishes an electropolished interior to stop flavor transfer, and ZEAYEA a diamond pattern for grip. Yummy Sam publishes colored sleeves, which is the same idea aimed at children.
Which ones can go in the dishwasher
Yummy Sam and FristChoice both state dishwasher safe. MEWAY states the opposite, recommending hand washing, which on a set of four powder coated tumblers with straws is a real cost in time. ZEAYEA says its glasses are easy to wash without naming a method, and Shradha publishes no washing instruction of any kind.
That matters most on the purchases with straws. A straw and a sealing ring are the two parts that need attention, and MEWAY supplies two brushes for four straws while FristChoice supplies one brush for one straw. Yummy Sam includes straws in a twenty one piece count without saying whether a brush is among them.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
The household of four that wants matching cups. MEWAY publishes four 20 ounce tumblers with four lids, four bent stainless straws and two brushes, claiming 6 hours hot and 12 hours cold. Hand washing is recommended, and its published weight figure is not one to rely on.
The kitchen with children in it. Yummy Sam publishes five 12 ounce cups with two in one lids, silicone sealing rings, straws and colored heat insulated sleeves, dishwasher safe, in a set it counts as twenty one pieces. Ask for the itemized list before buying if the count matters.
The cupboard that needs unbreakable glasses. ZEAYEA publishes four 10 ounce double wall glasses at 3 inches across and 3.5 inches high, with a diamond pattern for grip. No lids, no straws, and nothing to lose in a drawer.
The everyday water glass. Shradha publishes three 10.1 ounce tumblers at 3 by 3 by 4 inches in brushed 18/8 steel with a rolled rim, at 0.66 pounds for the set. Single wall, no lid, no insulation claim, and nothing to go wrong.
The one cup that does everything. FristChoice publishes a single 20 ounce tumbler with a handle, a leak-proof lid, a straw and a brush, claiming 6 hours hot and 12 hours cold, dishwasher safe, with an electropolished interior.
What We Could Not Verify
All the figures above come from these makers’ own listings. Here is what they leave out.
- No itemized contents for the purchase that publishes a twenty one piece count.
- No cup dimensions from three of the five.
- No insulation hours from three of the five.
- No washing instruction at all from one of the five.
- No wall thickness or gauge from any of the five.
- No believable weight for the four cup set, whose published figure is lighter than a single tumbler here.
