How the Five Compare on the Numbers
These five publish different sets of figures, so the comparison starts with what each maker actually states. The Hamilton Beach states 5.5 quarts, two steaming bowls and a rice basket. The OVENTE states 5 quarts in its title and two 2.5 quart baskets in a bullet. The BELLA states 7.4 quarts. The Rosewill states 9.5 quarts across three tiers plus 800 watts. The AAOBOSI states 12.7 quarts, given again as 12 liters, and 1500 watts.
Timer and shutoff facts differ as well. All five publish an auto shutoff. The OVENTE and the Rosewill both publish a 60-minute timer. The Hamilton Beach publishes a countdown timer and a delay start without naming a maximum, and the BELLA and the AAOBOSI publish boil dry protection with no timer range at all. Wattage appears on three of the five. Weight and a full set of dimension fields appear on all five.
What the table cannot tell you is how any of these performs. Nobody at Lush has used them, and no measurement was taken here. It cannot tell you how long each takes to reach steam except where a maker says so, how evenly it heats, or how the food turns out. Those are performance questions and the makers publish nothing comparable for them.
Capacity and Tier Count Decide the Shortlist
What the published capacities mean
The stated capacities run from 5 quarts to 12.7 quarts. The OVENTE states 5 quarts, the Hamilton Beach 5.5, the BELLA 7.4, the Rosewill 9.5 and the AAOBOSI 12.7. Only the OVENTE breaks its figure down, into two clear 2.5 quart baskets, so on the other four the stated total is all a buyer has to plan a meal around.
Tier count is a separate question from volume. The Rosewill publishes three stackable trays and the other four publish two. More tiers means more foods steaming at once without mixing, which is the makers’ own argument for the design. The Hamilton Beach adds a feature none of the others state: a center divider that can be removed to fit larger quantities in one bowl.
What the timer and shutoff facts mean
All five state an auto shutoff, and three of them say what triggers it. The OVENTE states shutoff when the time ends or the water empties. The Rosewill states the same pair. The AAOBOSI states boil dry sensors that pause heating when water is low, and the BELLA states boil dry protection that turns the unit off if it runs dry or is left on too long.
Only two publish a number. The OVENTE and the Rosewill both state a 60-minute timer. The Hamilton Beach states a countdown timer, a delay start and an auto shutoff on a digital touchpad, and never names a maximum time. The BELLA and the AAOBOSI publish no timer range at all, so on three of the five the longest run the maker expects is unstated.
Materials, Wattage and Water Handling
Published wattage and steam claims
Three makers publish a wattage: the OVENTE 400 watts, the Rosewill 800 watts and the AAOBOSI 1500 watts. The Rosewill also states that its turbo steam design produces steam in 40 seconds, and the AAOBOSI states instant dense steam in seconds and a 40 percent cut in prep time. Those are the makers’ own claims and nothing here measures them.
The Hamilton Beach and the BELLA publish no wattage, which on an electric appliance is the figure a buyer would most expect to find. Neither offers anything in its place, so on two of the five there is no power figure to compare at all, and the gap is not filled with an estimate anywhere on this page.
Food contact materials and water
The AAOBOSI is the only pick that names the material its food touches: 304 stainless steel trays and housing, described as 100 percent plastic free on the food contact surfaces, and dishwasher safe. The BELLA states plastic baskets that are removable and dishwasher safe. The OVENTE states clear stackable baskets without naming the material. The Rosewill states BPA free and stops there.
The Hamilton Beach names black and stainless steel in its title but never says which part of the appliance the steel is, so the basket material is not settled by it. Water handling splits the same way: the AAOBOSI states a 2 liter side tank you can refill mid cook, the OVENTE a 500 ml maximum fill, the BELLA a clear level indicator, and the other two nothing measurable.
Size on the Counter
Every figure comes from a field
Not one of these five states a size in its own words, so every dimension on this page comes from a published field with no label a buyer can check. The Hamilton Beach fields read 7.28 by 13.7 by 12.6 inches, the OVENTE 9.4 by 7.5 by 11.4, the BELLA 8.94 by 11.61 by 11.73, the Rosewill 9.25 by 12.2 by 15.63 and the AAOBOSI 9.6 by 16.3 by 14.3.
Two things stand out in that set. The Rosewill carries a 15.63 inch figure where the Hamilton Beach carries 13.7 and the BELLA 11.73, which matters under a wall cabinet more than it does on a counter. And the AAOBOSI carries 16.3 and 14.3 inches on two of its axes against 13.7 and 12.6 for the Hamilton Beach, which fits the 12.7 quart capacity it states but is a real amount of worktop.
Weight, nesting and storage
Published weights run from 1.8 pounds for the OVENTE to 8.8 pounds for the AAOBOSI, with the BELLA at 3.53, the Hamilton Beach at 3.97 and the Rosewill at 4.62. The spread tracks the materials: the one stainless steel unit is the heaviest and the three with plastic or unnamed baskets sit in the middle.
Three of the five say something about storing the thing. The Hamilton Beach states that the tiers nest together to store away and that it fits neatly in cabinets. The OVENTE states a compact nesting design that saves storage space. The Rosewill states that the stackable trays save space on a countertop, in a cabinet or in a pantry. The BELLA and the AAOBOSI say nothing about storage at all.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
Egg and rice cooks. The Hamilton Beach publishes capacity for up to 16 large eggs on the steam bowl egg holders, 5.5 quarts, two tiers, a rice basket, a removable center divider and a delay start. It publishes 3.97 pounds and no wattage at all.
Small kitchens and light weight. The OVENTE publishes 1.8 pounds, the lightest of the five, with 5 quarts split into two 2.5 quart baskets, 400 watts, a 60-minute timer and a 500 ml maximum fill. Its baskets and removable parts are stated dishwasher safe.
Water level watchers. The BELLA publishes 7.4 quarts and a clear water level indicator, with boil dry protection, a removable base and stackable plastic baskets that are stated dishwasher safe. It publishes 3.53 pounds and no wattage or timer range.
Multi-tier cooks. The Rosewill publishes three tiers, 9.5 quarts, 800 watts, steam in 40 seconds and a 60-minute timer, at 4.62 pounds. Its fields read 9.25 by 12.2 by 15.63 inches against 9.6 by 16.3 by 14.3 for the AAOBOSI, so check the gap under your cabinets.
Large batch cooks. The AAOBOSI publishes 12.7 quarts, 1500 watts, a 2 liter side tank for refilling mid cook, and 304 stainless steel trays and housing. It publishes 8.8 pounds, the heaviest here, and fields of 9.6 by 16.3 by 14.3 inches.
What We Could Not Verify
Several figures are missing from these five listings, and no estimate is offered in their place.
- Per-tier volume for the Hamilton Beach, BELLA, Rosewill and AAOBOSI, so only the OVENTE says what one basket holds.
- Wattage for the Hamilton Beach and the BELLA, the two picks that give no power figure at all.
- Timer range in minutes for the Hamilton Beach, the BELLA and the AAOBOSI.
- A basket material for the Hamilton Beach, whose title names steel without saying which part it belongs to.
- Water tank volume for the Hamilton Beach, the BELLA and the Rosewill.
- A size in any maker’s own words: all five dimensions on this page come from unlabeled fields.
