How the Five Compare on the Numbers
Four of these five publish a figure for the tray and confirm it in the maker’s own words. Tvmania states 7.3 by 5.1 by 1.2 inches overall. VBQFDPH states 11.02 by 4.72 by 2.2 inches. KH866 states 28.5 by 12 by 3 cm, which is 11.22 by 4.72 by 1.18 inches. CiCixixi states 11.61 by 4.72 by 4.72 inches.
Aopigavi is the exception. Its listing publishes no dimension for the tray at all, only 4.53 by 10.43 by 1.57 inches for the package, and describes the design as flat and low profile without a number behind it. Published weights run 0.6 lb for Tvmania, 0.94 lb for Aopigavi, 2.47 lb for KH866, 2.7 lb for VBQFDPH and 3.11 lb for CiCixixi.
What the table cannot settle is how any of this sits once a drawer is closing on it. No listing here says whether its lid adds to the published height, whether the figure covers the tray alone or the tray with its lid on, or how much the silicone bows under a full load. Four of the five give a number you can measure a drawer against, and none of them says exactly what that number includes.
Which Listings Measure the Tray, and Which Measure the Box
Four Figures You Can Hold Against a Drawer
Tvmania is the clearest of the four, because it uses the word overall. Its bullet reads measuring 7.3 by 5.1 by 1.2 inches overall, and its size line repeats the same three figures, so there is no question about whether a carton crept into the number. It also publishes a cube at 1.5 by 1.2 by 0.7 inches, which is the only cube dimension on this page.
The three steel trays are nearly as good. VBQFDPH publishes 11.02 by 4.72 by 2.2 inches in its size line and calls the result compact enough for most freezers. KH866 publishes 28.5 by 12 by 3 cm in a bullet, which works out to 11.22 by 4.72 by 1.18 inches. CiCixixi publishes 11.61 by 4.72 by 4.72 inches, the only set here where two of the three figures match.
The One That Publishes Only a Carton
Aopigavi publishes 4.53 by 10.43 by 1.57 inches, and that figure belongs to the package rather than to a tray. Its own words go no further than calling the design flat and low profile and saying the trays stack vertically to save freezer space. For a drawer, that is a claim rather than a measurement, and this page does not convert one into the other.
What Aopigavi does publish is the volume. Every compartment carries markings from 1 Tbsp or 15 ml up to 2 Tbsp or 30 ml and 1 oz, which makes it the most precise of the five on portion size and the least precise on fit. It also publishes 0.94 lb, against 0.6 lb from Tvmania and 2.47 lb from KH866.
The Figure a Closing Drawer Cares About
The Thin End of the Range
None of these four says which of its three published figures is the height, so a drawer gap has to be read against all three. KH866 publishes 11.22, 4.72 and 1.18 inches, taken from 28.5 by 12 by 3 cm. Tvmania publishes 7.3, 5.1 and 1.2 inches. VBQFDPH publishes 11.02, 4.72 and 2.2 inches. CiCixixi publishes 11.61, 4.72 and 4.72 inches.
VBQFDPH sits at 2.2 inches, which its own bullet explains: it is a double layer tray with 18 slots in each layer for 36 cubes, so the extra height buys capacity rather than wasting it. A drawer either has that 2.2 inches or it does not, and the listing gives the figure plainly enough to measure against before buying.
The Tray That Comes With a Stand
CiCixixi publishes 11.61 by 4.72 by 4.72 inches, and the listing never says what the 4.72 inch figure includes. The set holds two trays, a stand, an easy release handle, ice tongs and an ice pick, and the stand is described as stackable so both trays store neatly, so the figure plausibly covers the trays on their stand rather than one tray on its own.
That matters on this page more than most, because a drawer is measured to its gap and not to a stand. The listing publishes 3.11 lb, which is more weight than any other pick here states, and nothing in it separates the tray from the stand or gives a figure for either one alone. A reader who needs a single tray’s height does not get it.
What Else Is in the Drawer
Lids, Covers and Loose Pieces
Three of the five publish a lid or a cover. Tvmania states a removable lid for each of its two trays that seals tightly to keep odors out. Aopigavi states a tight fitting airtight lid with an easy pull tab that opens straight from the freezer. VBQFDPH states a built in dust proof cover rather than a separate lid, which is one fewer loose piece to lose.
KH866 and CiCixixi publish no lid at all, and both add loose pieces instead: six ice clips with KH866, and a stand, a release handle, tongs and a pick with CiCixixi. In a drawer meant to stay organized, those are items that need a home, and no figure is published for any of them.
Levers, and the Space They Need
Three of the five release ice with a lever. KH866 describes a strong lever handle that cracks and releases ice without twisting, with 18 removable slots. VBQFDPH describes lifting a lever handle so the cubes separate. CiCixixi describes a built in lever on each tray. All three are 304 stainless steel, and their published weights are 2.47 lb, 2.7 lb and 3.11 lb.
The two silicone entries work differently and publish the temperature ranges to go with it. Tvmania says the tray twists and pushes up from the bottom and is rated minus 40 F to 428 F. Aopigavi says to press the bottom of a single compartment and is rated minus 40 F to 446 F. Neither of the three steel trays publishes a temperature figure at all.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
A drawer with very little clearance. Tvmania, which states 7.3 by 5.1 by 1.2 inches overall and 0.6 lb, the lightest published weight of the five. It also publishes its cube at 1.5 by 1.2 by 0.7 inches, which nothing else here does.
The most cubes from one footprint. VBQFDPH, 18 slots in each of two layers for 36 cubes, published as 11.02 by 4.72 by 2.2 inches. The cover is built in rather than a separate lid, so there is nothing extra in the drawer.
Metal with a lever and no plastic. KH866, food grade 304 stainless steel at 28.5 by 12 by 3 cm, or 11.22 by 4.72 by 1.18 inches, with 18 removable slots and six ice clips. It publishes no lid, so cubes are not covered in storage.
A full ice setup rather than a tray. CiCixixi, two 304 steel trays with a stand, a release handle, tongs and a pick at 3.11 lb. Its published 11.61 by 4.72 by 4.72 inches does not say whether the 4.72 inches includes the stand.
Portioning rather than fitting. Aopigavi, silicone with a steel rim, marked from 1 Tbsp or 15 ml to 2 Tbsp or 30 ml, rated minus 40 F to 446 F. It publishes 0.94 lb and no tray dimension, only 4.53 by 10.43 by 1.57 inches for the package.
What We Could Not Verify
Everything above comes from the five listings themselves. These are the things they do not say.
- No listing here says whether its published height is measured with the lid on or off.
- Aopigavi publishes no dimension for a tray, only a package figure and the words flat and low profile.
- CiCixixi never says whether its 4.72 inch figure includes the stand the set ships with.
- VBQFDPH, KH866 and CiCixixi publish no temperature range of any kind.
- No maker here publishes a figure for the ice clips, tongs, pick or stand that come in the box.
- Only Tvmania publishes a cube dimension; the other four give a count or a volume instead.
