How the Five Compare on the Numbers
A jar spatula looks like a single piece of silicone and usually is not. Three of the seven listings in this pool say there is something inside: a nylon core, a stainless steel core, or embedded metal. That is what makes the qualifier on this page a real question rather than a formality, because a dishwasher’s job is to force hot water and detergent into every boundary a tool has.
Two listings were left out for not claiming a machine at all. One is a ten piece set that states its exterior is silicone with embedded metal inside for hardness, and then asks only that you rinse it with clean water after use. The other is a two piece set whose five bullets cover heat resistance, BPA free material and a 9 inch length, with no cleaning instruction anywhere.
What the table cannot tell you is whether the core in either of the two listings that name one is fully encapsulated. That is the specification that would settle this page, because a core sealed inside silicone is a non issue in a dishwasher and a core meeting the surface anywhere is a route for water. Neither OXO nor GZLT says, and the three listings that name no core say even less.
Four Machine Claims and One Rinse
What Each Listing Actually Says
OXO puts it in a four word bullet: heat safe, non stick friendly and dishwasher safe. That is the whole claim and it sits beside a named nylon core, which is the combination this page is testing. Kunovo is the most careful, stating a smooth non porous surface that resists stains and odors and then offering rinsing or the dishwasher as equal options.
GZLT states that the seamless one piece design prevents food getting stuck in crevices and that you simply place it in the dishwasher, and adds that the hanging hole allows for easy drying afterwards. Yanchexp states dishwasher safe for effortless cleaning in a bullet about storage. All four are claims about the whole tool rather than about a part of it.
The One That Asks for a Sink
YZRIZX never mentions a dishwasher. Its instruction is a little soapy water to rinse the spatula clean and a hole in the handle to hang it by, and it pairs that with the strongest construction claim in the pool: a seamless one piece design that leaves nothing stuck in the crevices. That is an argument for why hand washing is quick rather than an argument against a machine.
It earns its place here on the rest of what it publishes. It is the only pick giving a temperature range rather than a ceiling, minus 50C to 250C, and it names ovens, refrigerators and microwaves. Four spatulas at a stated 9.5 inches with a hanging hole each, in four distinguishable colors, at a published 0.33 pounds for the set.
The Part You Cannot See
Two Listings Name a Core
OXO states that the long handle has a sturdy nylon core and a soft, non slip grip. GZLT states that each spatula features a built in stainless steel core providing exceptional durability. Both are honest and both describe a tool made of two materials, which is the only sense in which a jar spatula has parts at all.
A core is what stops a long thin silicone handle folding when you lean on a jar of cold honey, so this is not a fault to be avoided. It is a thing to know, because the interesting question on a dishwasher page is whether that core is sealed in. Neither listing says, and the absence is the same on both.
Three Listings Say Nothing at All
Kunovo, Yanchexp and YZRIZX name no core. That may mean solid silicone throughout, which would make the dishwasher question trivial, or it may mean an unstated core, which would make it the same question unanswered. YZRIZX and GZLT both help by claiming a seamless one piece body, and Kunovo and Yanchexp make no construction claim either way.
A listing in the wider pool is more forthcoming and makes the point neatly. It states that the exterior is silicone and that embedded metal materials ensure sufficient hardness, and then asks you to rinse it with clean water after use. It is not ranked here because it makes no machine claim, but it is the clearest description of what these tools are made of.
Where the Figures Stop Agreeing
Two Heat Limits in One Listing
GZLT states heat resistance up to 600F in its first bullet and heat resistance up to 445F in its last. Those are not two figures for two different things; both sentences describe the silicone. Since nothing in the listing reconciles them, neither number should anchor a decision, and the honest reading is that the lower one is the safer assumption.
The same listing also cannot count its own set. Its title says 4 Pcs, one bullet says the set includes spatulas of different sizes and shapes, and the last bullet says the set includes three spatulas with long handles. That does not affect whether it can go in a dishwasher, and it does tell you how carefully the rest of the copy was checked.
Only One Spatula Has a Published Size
OXO publishes 1.25 by 0.85 by 11.1 inches and 0.1 pounds, and because it is a single spatula those figures describe the tool. Every other listing in this pool is a multipack, so its dimension fields describe packaging, and the useful numbers have to come from a size field or a bullet instead.
Kunovo’s size field gives 9.6 inches long by 1 inch wide, GZLT’s reads 9.5 inch, and YZRIZX states 9.5 inches in a bullet. Yanchexp publishes a field reading 23.8 cm and no inch figure anywhere, which on a US listing is the one conversion a buyer should not have to do. None of the four publishes a head width or a thickness.
Which One Fits Your Kitchen
You want to know exactly what you are buying. OXO publishes 1.25 by 0.85 by 11.1 inches and 0.1 pounds, names its sturdy nylon core, states heat safe, non stick friendly and dishwasher safe in one line, and describes edges polished and beveled to get every bit out of a jar or a blender.
Garlic and peanut butter live in your jars. Kunovo states a smooth non porous surface that resists stains and odors and offers rinsing or the dishwasher as equal options, on three spatulas with a size field giving 9.6 inches long by 1 inch wide and an extra long handle for narrow jars.
You want a steel core and a machine claim. GZLT states a built in stainless steel core, a seamless one piece design with no crevices, a hanging hole for drying and a dishwasher cycle for cleaning, on a 9.5 inch body. Read its heat figures with care: one bullet says 600F and another 445F.
You want a drawer full of them. Yanchexp supplies ten spatulas stated dishwasher safe, with a size field reading 23.8 cm, stated safe for food, cosmetics and hard wax, and a sleek design stated to store flat in a drawer or a utensil holder. It publishes no inch figure and no weight.
You wash by hand and want nothing trapped. YZRIZX states a seamless one piece design that leaves nothing stuck in the crevices, minus 50C to 250C, four spatulas at a stated 9.5 inches with a hanging hole each and 0.33 pounds for the set. Its instruction is soapy water, not a machine.
What We Could Not Verify
Four listings claim a dishwasher and none of them says what is inside the handle well enough to check it.
- Neither listing that names a core says whether the core is fully sealed inside the silicone.
- Three of the five name no core at all, so whether there is a part inside is unstated.
- GZLT publishes two different heat limits in two of its own bullets, 600F and 445F.
- GZLT’s title says four pieces and one of its own bullets says three.
- Only OXO publishes dimensions for a single spatula; every other size figure covers a set.
- Yanchexp publishes no figure in inches at all, only a size field reading 23.8 cm.
